All those people, already calling for Capello's head midway the season. What will that solve?...
...Nothing. That's what, we'd be in a similiar position, in which Fiorentina are.
We can bounce back from this. A reshuffle might be in order, but we don't need to and we can't make any drastic changes to our team.
A lot of the critisizm towards Capello is fair(Vinnman's criticism for example), as he does favour certain players and is too stubborn to change things like formations and tactics.
The thing with Capello though is, is that Capello knows how to win though.
Capello knows how to win championships.
I can already hear the arguments, " Capello can win? like today and wednesday you mean?". As I said before: this is just a bad patch of form. That's not an unusual thing.
Please, don't blame this all on Capello, that's too easy. There are so much more factors involved in winning and losing matches.
To be honest this season has been very predictable. The entire season so far, could've been predicted even before this season started.
Back in the summer, Moggi had the choise to bring in either Deschamps, to build a juve for the future(a project), or Capello, for direct results.
Moggi opted for the latter, being Capello.
I also wondered today though, about this match: did Capello leave Del Piero out today to prove a point? The point that we WOULD win if we played without Del Piero?
This (the juve problems, this match etc.) is not all about DP though (altough some members on this forum do give that impression).
DP would not have and will not make the difference for this juventus! I'm glad for that though.
I dont even want one player to make the difference, as we should never be reliant on one player.
Reliant on one player as we WERE under lippi, reliant on Nedved that is.
Capello thankfully changed that, another good thing he brought.
Yes Nedved today in the team would've been welcomed, but I don't think he would've made the difference either. This team simply underperformed tonight and this midweek..
