My views on the game:
Our downfall came as a result of tactical blunders & no psyche. Why waste Zambrotta on the right? Milan owned he midfield because they populated it and were more physical. We needed Mutu to combine with Zambro on the left & Camo to push wide on the right if we were to make any impact as the central mid was packed. I was of the belief that Trez - Zlatan was the best duo to start but that was not to be. Trez - DP would have been better with support from Mutu coming in from left.
All in all not the end of the world but frustrating to note that once again when a team packs their midfield we are rendered toothless.

zambo played on the right to use his speed to cover for serginho.I dont think pessoto could've dealt with him. We needed zambo's speed there.

i agree abt camo and mutu however we needed them there.

Well, Zlatan was horrible and for everybody's benefit (including his own), he should be benched played as a sub for a couple of games.
He has been massivly critizised, now let it go and wait for the next game and we'll se what starting eleven Capello lines up.

What's really pathetic is the people attacking Chimenti.
First of all, the guy has played 8 games the past three years.

He suddenly gets to play a major game on San Siro against an attacking enthusiastic Milan. Ofcourse he didn't have a great game, it's natural.

What's even more pathetic is the guys who are asking why Abbiati didn't play.

He has been a liability and there hasn't been anyone who has supported him(which they shouldn't) which makes it paradoxal to want him to play now.

And didn't you figure that he wouldn't play? He's owned by Milan.
What if he would've made the same mistakes as Chimenti.
A massive discussion about wheter he did his best and so on would start.

I don't understand Zlatan. Can't someone tell and teach him that when he's playing as bad as today, when his touch on the ball clearly is under his level, he needs to play simple passes. Just find a teammate, pass to him and then move to another position. I think it's always the best way to get into a game but Zlatan is getting frusturated and is exaggerating alot of the situations.

another thing i forgot to say is about the referree.

He was very very shaky. and didnt handle the game very well.

i dont like saying anything abt refereeees or blaming them for the losses.I dont blame him i just say that he should've handled the game better.

Juve had a real bad day. The main problem was simple there attitude. I didn't see a team which wanted to win in Milan this day. They just played a game as usual.
Milan was a bit lucky. The opening goal but you can't say they didn't deserve it. Juve hadn't any chances. No creativity in the offensive. I don't want to rate the goalkeeper. He made one mistake, what shells. But Juve's defence will lack in upcoming games. With Buffon there was real leader on which the defenders believe in absolutely. It will take a lot of time to integrate a new goalkeeper.

Players: Nedved tries and tries. Ibrahimovic made a bad performance. Camo worked very hard and had a great attitude as usual. Do not understand the sub. Trezeguet was he really on the pitch ? Ok I should to stop critizing the players.

Milan had a tough defence yesterday. Great! Very concentrated in my opinion. I also have to admit that Stam was amazing.

Fabio Capello insists that the only thing separating Milan and Juventus this evening was “good luck” and insists the Bianconeri are stronger than ever.

“Today I realised I have a remarkably strong squad, as we conceded a goal when Milan weren’t doing any damage at all,” he said after the 3-1 defeat at the San Siro. “Clarence Seedorf’s opener was a lucky strike and the others were on set-pieces, but we did well against a team on great form and the only difference between us was luck. We accept the result.”

Kaka and Andrea Pirlo’s goals came from free kicks that were not dealt with adequately by the Bianconeri back-line, while David Trezeguet netted a consolation goal in the later stages.

“I don’t think our goalkeeper was particularly tested, as the only real chances went into the net. I told the lads that they are a really strong outfit. We knew Milan were good, but the 3-1 result was too harsh considering the overall performances of the two teams.”

Capello also insisted that the Rossoneri did not dominate this match, despite leading 3-0 at one stage and Dida was hardly tested.

“Milan went forward in bursts, but I don’t think that before the 2-0 result they were creating too many problems for us. They were aggressive and determined, but they weren’t dispossessing us that much, as far as I could see.”

Capello also refused to fan the flames of controversy in the post-match comments and praised referee Paolo Bertini.

“I have always supported this style of refereeing and this type of football that is fast-moving, so I have no complaints there.”

Zlatan was injured last week and Del Piero was given the nod to play against Sampdoria on Wednesday just to show his worth and how much he can add to the team. What happens against a better teamk, Zlatan had to replace our most on-form forward just to prove to everyone that he's always right. Right, keep Mutu on the bench and play with Nedvend and right substitute Camoranesi and keep Zlatan trying on the field.

I heard experts, reporters, fans and members say that Juventus learned from the game against Bayern that this stubornness leads nowhere and things will change afterwards. Was winning against Lecce and Sampdoria really a change and showed how much we changed? NO, it wasn't it was just an experience tha tmade our beloved coach more convinced of his idiocity.

Four days are away from another experiment and four days are away from Capello being proven wrong another time. My expectations to the game in Delle Alpi against Magath's men is another loss if we come in on the field with the same mentality and the same formation.

I totally disagree with you, Milan did play better than juve and created more chances and oppurtunities in which they scored 2 goals (which was not chimenti's mistake). They had more ball control at the midfield with better concentration in pasing compared to juve. So i would say in overall the result did reflect who is the better team...

first of all when critisizing anyone try to limit the use of names as u can.. i know everybody is pissed.

U can't talk abt the lineup, it was the best for the situation at the time.
Plzzz u can't talk Abt U or anyone here being a better coach than capello.
Even if alex and mutu were there or anyone else for that matter...
What would u do if u got an early goal from a deflection, while the team was just starting to get into the game.It just throws away any plans u have.
Ppl were talking abt The third keeper(bonnofeio), would've been a better choice than chimenti, I DONT THINK SO.
So we were going to be 2-0 down by half time instead of 3-0, i know its a big difference but it didnt take ancelotti much to close down the game, and play the usual milan game of passing and not giving the ball away.

I know capello made some mistakes but u can't just put everything on him.The early goal just demorolized the team as a whole.
Milan only brushed us away in the 2nd half , when realistically the chance had already passed away.
Substitutions were wrong i know, its his mistake..i agree with that.
But u can't jsut pin the whole loss on capello himself.

Anyway tomorrow's another day....I was watching the ManU game before the juve game, and after the juve game...my brother(a Juventini) said the Red devils of england lost and the Red Devils of Italy won.

What is going to be the case against the Red Devils of Germany.

Milan had opportunities to score and the goals came form the only opportunities they got, they maybe had one or two others that cannot be considered.

No one controlled the midfield, but Milan had a better mentality, that's it.

What I meant by the score reflecing the perfomance, is that the performance of PLAY not MENTALITY. If you read further in my post you realize that I said Juventus' mentality was wrong.

Spot on, I've noted that before on many an occasion. Whats worse, and in fact unforgiveable, is when we're behind and we lack urgency. We can be 2-0 down in games and our back 4 are still playing one-twos in their own third. Strange thing, calcio.

Sorry to say that, if we don't change the starting lineup at times and bring on the in-form players, it definitely will affect our chances of the scedutto and the CL.
