I'm not really mad at the defeat. The dominant Barcelona of the last years was also losing matches and points to hyper defensive teams who play catenaccio. When your opponent has 10 players in their box, it often happens that you don't score. If we managed to score one, we would have killed them and scored another. We didn't, we lose, but that's not a big deal.
The big deal is how we approached the match and how we made mistakes even when we weren't under pressure. We must get rid of the arrogance and sloppiness.
Conte should also think about these issues. I wasn't worried at all until I saw that he's gonna start basically with the same players who gave 101% against Chelsea.

Our arrogance first half was astounding. Our attacking link up for the whole game was pretty terrible. And then the penalty...think that about summed it up.

We were beyond terrible. Couldn't pass, shoot or cross all night. No urgency, our players looked half asleep most of the game. Terrible first half though, one of the worst I can remember is playing.

That being said, Milan didn't do much either, they won off a bullshit penalty and the ref was giving them the favour in every 50-50 challenge. Meh. Hate losing to these cunts, but such is life. It was clear we let the Chelsea performance get to our heads. Now lets destroy our "cousins" on Saturday night.

:agree: ever since Alessio took over from Carrera I've been concerned about his lack of bite and fire. Not the kind of man you need on the sideline in a match like this. Conte would have lost his voice twice over.

What was up with Quaq! Showing disrespect like that.. I we give him and Matri the boot in january, go all in for Drogba and keep Bendtner for back-up. Further, Vucinic and Gio cannot play together. They are both Ss, same is Quaq.. We should give Bendter a vore of confident against Torino along with Gio.. I prefer Gio's fighting instict over Vucinic's skills.. And.. Keep Bendtner around the box to drag defenders around to open up for the midfield to score
