But that is my point, Fiorentina can cope with playing midweek or more to the point their key players can.

We and Milan cannot do so for different reasons. Our key players are old and cannot cope with the pressures of playing midweek and weekend in pressure situations and the younger ones are not good enough.

Well you did make a good call a while back when you said Grygera was average as I had only seen him play for Czech team, I thought he was decent but he is not.

Well not at centreback at least.

I also read somewhere that you are Dutch if so what do you make of Urby Emanuelson as I am surprised he is still at Ajax as he looks like a decent left back or is there a problem with him.

I dont get the Dutch league anymore. Are the big teams like Psv and Ajax getting worse or are the other teams getting better as there have been lots of strange results this season.

Back to us I know this might sound strange but unless the board has a plan and that includes purchasing genuine class, it might not be a bad idea not to qualify for Cl.

As I have seen to many teams not equipped to play cl and seriea like chievo, lazio and loads of Spanish sides struggling to cope because this present side cannot do that at all.

I may be wrong but I don't think side has won matches in both midweek and weekend back to back and thats playing against sides that are not even top class

What happens if we have to meet Roma on a saturday, real madrid on tuesday and milan on sunday with this side?

The scariest thing is that they are not underperforming as with that there is a little hope, they just cannot give more than what they have in their repertoir
good points
and thats why i think juve is quite lucky to be in the 3rd place with generally average to poor performance up to now

this game was a golden opportunity to virtually secure third place, putting back Fiorentina and Milan, all we had to so is win this game and we blew it
I'm beginning to wonder if we even deserve to go into Europe next year

Enough has been said here, just adding to it seems very redundant

I dont even enjoy watching our team right now....its painfully obvious that we are nothing more than an average Serie A team thats been rather lucky, until now

We were completely outplayed in the first half, and got lucky enough to get a freak goal out of Sissoko....total freak goal

Again, we looked stale in the second half, and then Camo scored a screamer....which should have been the game winner

Then, RUINeri decides that with 20 minutes left, he is going to close up shop by putting Nocerino in for Camo, and having 3 defensive middies in, and none are capable of giving the forwards any sort of service. I KNEW that we were going to lose the game when he pulled that stroke of fucking brilliance

The three stooges (Gigli, BLANK, SUCKO), along with RUINeri, Molinaro, Grygera, Brazzo, and Nocerino have to go.....

Legro and Palla arent good enough to start, they are bench players to be used in the Coppa, and thats about it !!

damn.. we need a really good player.. diego or vdv would be perfect.. and a WC defender

why not spend 50 mil. on something you will get much more profit of? when the new stadium is finished and juventus has a playermaker like diego.. fans would love to come to the stadium and it will be sold out every match (i think/hope :p)

we need WC players!!

I think Juve has one of the worst defenses in history given its personnel. But if you go by goals against, our last year with Lippi definitely tops this season. (When Paolo Montero was a red card machine that only Ruben Olivera could rival... what is it with juventini from Uruguay?)

Couldn't agree more , Vinny , but yet i'm pretty sure that Palla has a potential , so with Rino and Grygera .hopefully after we make a decent Reinforcement next year , those mentioned flop will show their real worth :xfinger:

AND , NO EXCEPTION , RUINIERI have to go on the TOP list .

I hardly to remember that season , Mod , but overall i don't think despite Montero that era was a red card Machine is worse than Juventus Today's Era , definitely different .

wat a pathetic defensive display...i don't want to blame Legro because he has has been fantastic so far but Grygera and Molinaro were inept to say the least...screw these players and trust the youth!

Different in that this season we actually beat Roma once 1-0 and drew 2-2 in another match. And in Lippi's last season, we got pantsed 4-0 by Roma. That "definitely different"? (How conveniently people blackout over Lippi's last season with us.)

The defensive line now is as sucky as ever for Serie A. But they're performing better than the backline did back in 2003-4, that's for sure.

well Juve played shit, they didnt really deserve to get 3 points unfortunately....i think now that the season is nearing the end our poor squad will be really exposed...the pressure to finish in the top 3 will really be on....it will depend on if our big players can carry us over the finish line
