you may all laugh, but i blame Moggi for putting Legro on Loan....
no, i think he should have kept Tudor or Legro!

I hope we use a primavera player instead of Montero he is simply not good enough anymore and i hope Cap sees that before it is to late!

I realize now that the ONLY chance this team has to win any trophies this season is to keep attacking, even if we are up 2, 3, or even 4 goals.

We look great when we are attacking. Once we take our foot off the petal, we are vulnerable.

The defense is our achilles heel. We were lucky on too many plays not to give up a goal, then the linesman gifted us with an offsides on a perfectly good goal.

Montero is worthless, and if Canna is out for a period of time, we are f ucked......Moggi didnt do his homework by getting rid of Tudor, and keeping Montero and Ferrara as our only backups. Zebina has also shown a tendency to make bonehead mistakes.

This defense will NOT win us the CL this season.......
Agreed. Even if we don't attack with as much purpose at 2 or 3-0 up than at 0-0 or 1-0 we HAVE to stop taking our foot off the pedal and attempting to defend leads. It just isn't working.

Here we go again. Keep your feet on the ground people, just last week everyone was saying we were worse than Atalanta

Geez.

Because we didnt play a 4-4-2, as far as I saw it it was a 3-4-2-1 slash 5-3-2.

Camo didnt play on the right, IMO he was given the playmaker role while Zlatan played wider out right and DP left. In defence we would switch to a 5 man defense.

TBH, he could have done better.
Well, i wasn't one of those ppl who stated Atalanta is better then Juve..Don't worry am keeping ma feet on the ground, but am just happy how things went today finally....

Del Piero was stunning today the only thing missing was a goal from him, I hope that his performance today sends out a message to Capello that DP should start in every match he is fit to play:)

True, when defending we had Zebina on the right, Zambrotta on the left and Thuram, Montero and Cannavaro in the centre, but I still don't agree with starting Montero. He just isn't good enough for Juve anymore and he proved that today. He can't pass, he can't tackle, he's too slow, doesn't win a lot of aerial challenges legally and commits way too many fouls. He's quite simply passed it imo.

I agree. I mean, tactically the idea of starting 3 central backs was great, and it would have been even better had we had someone other than Montero for the job. Tudor for example.

It's good to see Del Piero playing well again. He showed real class on the ball with superb close control and technique. In the first half he combined superbly with Zambrotta and was brought down centimeters outside the penalty area and played a nice through ball in towards Trezeguet. He set up Camo's goal, came close to scoring one of his own, first with a header and then with a free kick, and made some really nice runs. If Capello goes back to the 4-4-2 he should start upfront with Ibrahimovic.

Could be....but remmb Legro didn't took his chance this year, not even 1 single match, it's kinda unfair if you ask me!
I dont think it takes a brilliant coach to figure out that Legro is better, and much younger than Montero.....

Serie A Wrap: Juve Bounce Back
2/13/2005 4:49:00 PM
The Bianconeri got back on winning track as they defeated Udinese 2-1 at the Delle Alpi of Turin.
After much criticism, Juventus managed to win convincingly against Udinese. The Turin giants bounced back from back-to-back defeats to increase their lead over Milan to 5 points before the Rossoneri's match at the Granillo tonight against Reggina. Capello's side opened the score after just 40 seconds with Ibrahimovic and the returning Camoranesi doubled the score four minute into the second half. Di Michele pulled one back for Udinese in the 90th minute but that was not enough for the Friulani as the Old Lady shrugged off the crisis of the past week.

Well Camo has played like that in every game so that's not really a change. Zlatan are much deadlier when cutting in to the penalty area then vice versa. This is a great position for him.

Great game in overall. Our defence was steady apart from the stupids who didn't want to wank the ball out of danger. Montero did one mistake (again) but apart from that he did good.

Lets hope we will see the same lineup against Messina.

ps: This was an respond to some post I don't feel like looking up. :undecide:

Buffon 5.5
Thuram 6.5
Zebina 6
Cannavaro 6.5
Montero 5.5
Camoranesi 7
Emerson 6.5
Zambrotta 6
Del Piero 6.5
Ibrahimovic 7.5
Trezeguet 5.5
