Lippi forgot to take his medication again? ;)

Well, since they already qualified for the WC, time to make it interesting for the fans by giving up a few goals to keep the friendlies close I guess. :p

Some points to note

Good performance by Juve for the victory

Defence ok, did their job as always, winning my praise.

Abbiati is still pretty decent.

Nedved played a good game, with grit and determination especially in the 1st half. Maybe this is juz a warm-up for the Czech Republic games.

Mutu did ok in his right midfielder role, however he is still played out of position. Y couldn't he be brought up front or put him behind the strikers.

Zlatan should have learnt how to release the ball and score by now, at the moment he is only putting his tricks to use. And he shouldn't be taking free kicks

Trez and DP scored again. Congrats to DP for his 178 goal.

When Mutu was going out of the field he was not disappointed. He went out running and cheering his sub, i.e. Maoro.
Thats very good team spirit.

Funny to see kovac with a wry smile though, who was sitting beside camo after he was resubstituted.

Frankly, I think camo has a lot on his mind, he does not seem to be in the correct mindset for juve!!! Either its personal or transfer problems we wouldn't know.... He's the best AMR we have at the moment besides oliveira.

Anyway, typical Juve win... slow and dragging, possesion was like 60% ?!? correct me if i'm wrong.

First match where all the goals were beatiful IMO. Zlatan's goal was from Thuram's assist.

Forza JUVE!!!

Zlatan always play better in the swedish national team for some reason.
probably because most of the national teams they play cant defend as well as Serie A teams

Serie A is the toughest league in the world

the goal of Del Piero was for Capello and Lippi

And a superbly taken goal that one.... with nice vision from ibra for the assist.

How many goals more for Il capitano to break record?

Juventus 3 - 0 Livorno
Ibrahimovic 58 (J), Trezeguet 60 (J), Del Piero 92 (J)
Stadio Delle Alpi

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David Trezeguet and Alessandro Del Piero were forced to work hard in order to beat Livorno and maintain their two-point lead at the top of the table, but Fabio Capello is taking a new hardline stance on lack of discipline among his players.

The Bianconeri may have beaten Bayern Munich midweek, but they needed a victory to get back on their Serie A track after the 3-1 defeat to Milan. They were taking on a Livorno side that was in fifth place going into this weekend and had a Cristiano Lucarelli on fine form.Gianluca Zambrotta again switched to right-back, leaving the left role for Giorgio Chiellini.

David Trezeguet bagged a brace midweek and nearly opened the scoring here after four minutes when Fabio Galante's dreadful header set up the Frenchman for a volley, but his finish was off target.

Moments later, Pavel Nedved drilled wide from the edge of the box, while at the other end Nikola Lazetic dribbled past a defender and fired over.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic left the entire Livorno defence for dead with a cheeky chip that allowed him to run past three players, but his shot was charged down by a desperate Marco Amelia.

The Amaranto went very close to a shock opener on 16 minutes, as Lucarelli's perfect cross reached Diego De Ascentis at the back post, but the former Torino man's header was charged down by Zambrotta's chest.

Lucarelli and Patrick Vieira had hopeful efforts off target, while another Nedved rocket shaved the woodwork. Francesco Coco's strike shook the side-netting after some good build-up play from Lucarelli.

Amelia tipped a tricky Nedved corner kick out of the top corner of the net, and in the second half Ibrahimovic ballooned Adrian Mutu's cross over the bar.

Juventus eventually broke through just before the hour mark. Jorge Vargas inexplicably stopped when Patrick Vieira's pass came over the defence and Zlatan Ibrahimovic was at full stretch to volley it past Amelia.

Moments later, Trezeguet made it 2-0 with his 107th goal in a Juventus jersey. The Livorno defence was again caught napping, as the Frenchman rose to nod in Zambrotta's sweeping cross from the right.

Livorno were furious and lost their heads, as De Ascentis saw red for a reaction foul on Mutu. However, replays suggest contact was minimal and Mutu was substituted soon after to avoid further problems.

The Bianconeri were very unlucky not to make it three, as Ibrahimovic's header was parried at point-blank range and Trezeguet somehow failed to push in the loose ball from a yard.

Lucarelli was the last to give in and his deflected effort looped up off Thuram's leg, Abbiati tipping it out of the top corner.

Mauro Camoranesi chested down the ball for Ibrahimovic and brought another tough save out of Amelia from six yards.

Fabio Capello is taking a new hard stance on lack of discipline and substituted Camoranesi straight after a dreadful challenge on Lucarelli. Camoranesi suffered a similar fate midweek against Munich, as the substitute was in turn replaced.

Alessandro Del Piero netted his fourth of the season in Serie A in stoppages, skipping round Passoni's challenge and the goalkeeper as he ran on to an Ibrahimovic through ball, slotting into an empty net.

Ibrahimovic nearly made it 4-0, bursting through the Livorno defence only for Amelia to block at the near post with one hand.

1-againt Bayern,he did normal foul,it wasn't that agressive,yet Capello took him out.
2-today's incident, you could see it clearly how that moron Lucarelli provoked him,he pulled his hair if I am not mistaken, and it's still not a reason to take Camoranesi out, while he keep Zlatan on when he does these kinds of things.
capello dont want him to be sent off

Camoranesi-Capello, alta tensione
07 11 2005

camo told capello if he had seen what lucarelli did to him as he was substituted. Capello and Moggi say that Camo is not in form and is nervous but he has time to get back to form

Capello cools Camoranesi storm Monday 7 November, 2005

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus boss Fabio Capello has insisted that there is no Mauro Camoranesi problem developing at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

The midfielder has been controversially replaced in the club’s last two games, just minutes after coming on to the pitch as a substitute himself.

But Capello has looked to calm the storm by maintaining the winger will soon be back to his best for the Italian champions.

"I replaced him because I didn’t want to gift our opponents with a possible dismissal," stated the Coach.

"He was certainly nervous and edgy, even if I can’t really explain why that is the case as there are no specific problems.

"He’ll now go off on international duty where I am sure he will find the tranquillity that he needs."

Camoranesi replaced Robert Kovac against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, but was taken off just 15 minutes later.

His substitute appearance against Livorno in the 3-0 win yesterday was cut short after he clashed with Cristiano Lucarelli, by firstly blasting the ball at him and them hacking him down from behind.

Juventus director general Luciano Moggi, who has hinted that the player may be fined for his actions, believes Capello’s decision to take him out of the game was the only option.

"Camoranesi is not in a great moment of form," said the official. "He wants to give a lot but things aren’t happening for him right now.

"Capello did well to take him off even if it is unfortunate that this has now happened twice to the player."

According to Score24.com and Sportbladet it was Vieira.
Actually it was Thuram. I saw the re-run 22:30. It was so obviously Thuram. Just because they are both black doesn't mean they actually look alike. ;)

Hey Martin, have you visited www.juventusclub.se before? I havn't seen you on the forums, why don't you sign up for membership at Juventus Club Svezia?
