I said Capello's game is better than Lippi's (late) and Ancelotti's.it's the tactics the mentality, not the players I am talking about..and u said 2003 we were playing great.I don't think so,I remember very well how we were playing defensive against Madrid and Barcelona,to reach the final (which was more boring and defensive).

Capello game this season have improved a lot comparing with last season.that's what I was trying to say at the begining of the season (that this year will be much better).

That's it, just look at the two squads...quite simple really. In 2003 Lippi had an aging defense, an aging Davids, an amazing Nedved, and a solid front pairing. Right now Capello has an aging defense yet very solid, two world class defensive midfielders, an aging Nedved, and an amazing front pairing. If we are going to argue over who was the better the manager at least get your facts right..

Both teams have solid and weak spots, however one is obviously better than the other through midfield...and that is where differences are made. End of discussion.

I read your post, but the fact of the matter is Capello has the better defense and midfield...why? Cannavaro has been in better shape than Ciro in the specified season and Thuram has been vastly superior to the aged Montero as well. Davids was on the wane in 2003 when we reached the Final and there is no comparing Tacchinardi to Emerson as much as I respect the former. The attack is basically the same and even though we had the magnificent Nedved in 2003 the midfield we possess now should make up for his contributions.

Then if you want to talk about other options off the bench the verdict is unanimous as well...Chiellini, Kovac, Mutu, and Del Piero are all superior to Pessotto, Tudor, Maresca, and Zalayeta respectively, among others. Sure Lippi had stalwarts such as Conte who is obviously better than Blasi and Giannichedda combined, however the majority of the players Capello has are superior at this point in time.

There is no contest really...Capello has the better overall roster between the two, however the difference is not that noticable as to argue over who is the better manager with these facts. I have my favorite and everybody here has their own opinion on this matter as well..

But in terms of what he has done for Juve...Lippi is our man and I doubt Capello will ever rival what Marcelo has done for Juventus.
