We absolutely dominated them and apart from the penalty, they couldn't even attempt shots. It easily could have been 6 - 1 with. Really satisfied.
I think just as in the Livorno game, we clearly sent a message to the whole Serie A. Hopefully, we will show the same hunger in the next match!

I beg to differ my friend. Last time I've seen Juventus play with the same level of intensity and aggression for an opening match was in the 07-08 season (Our first season back to Serie A) when Juve beat Livorno 5-1. We placed third that season, which was a surprise for everybody. I think this season is going to be a good one. :xfinger:

Good first half, better second half.
I really liked the movement, positioning & organisation we showed out there. Felt like every loose ball was ours. Quite a different approach from what I had become used to. Credit to Conte for fielding a very balanced team as well, which meant leaving a bunch of the new guys on the bench.
It's difficult not to get excited after seeing this game, but let's see if we can continue like this.
Buffon 6 - One shaky moment, didn't bother me that much.
Lichtsteiner 8 - Great at the back (I only noticed one small error) & useful in going forward and creating space as well. Was one of the reasons why we always managed to find a free player. I don't even need to mention the goal, but I just did anyway.
Barzagli 7,5 - Except the screw up early on, great game.
Chiellini 7 - Solid as ever.
De Ceglie 6 - Thought he had a good game, but the penalty leaves a bad taste.
Pepe 7 - Wasteful at times, valuable at other times. Cool finish.
Pirlo 8,5 - Not too shabby. Shame he delivered a few sloppy passes as well, otherwise this would have been an absolutely flawless & perfect debut for him.
Marchisio 7,5 - Played a big part in allowing Pirlo to play his preferred game, thus being vital to our entire set up.
Giaccherini 5 - Looked out of his depth.
Del Piero 6,5 - Not sharp at all most of the time. Still some nice touches & an assist. Still has an important part to play for this team.
Matri 6,5 - Not bad, but should have scored. Did a lot of work though.
Vidal 7 - Immediately made his mark. Promising. Could be difficult for him to claim a starting spot though.
Vucinic 6,5 - Mixed the bad with the good. Slightly more good, I guess.
Krasic 6 - Virtually no impact. Doesn't worry me just yet.
