One thing is certain, Llorente was awfull yesterday, and so was Pirlo, but he gets away with it because of his performances lately.

Oh, and the Amauri red, was it really deserved???
Didn't Vidal also deserve a red card a few minutes later then?

Yeah, Llorente used to be a pleasure to watch when he collected all those hard, long balls and distributed them perfectly. Now he's very clumsy.

Of course it was a straight red. There is a rule for such a behaviour in the air. If he hit Giorgio in his temple it would be a nasty and very dangerous for his life.

Gotta say, that late touch from Cassano to bring down that cross-fielded pass was absolutely stunning. Hes an ugly motherfucker, but man does he have some skill. This happened in the last few minutes of the game, I believe.

Then we got lucky with Vidal's yellow.
And also, if I am not wrong, Asamoah could have gotten a second yellow one or two times so the people complaining about the ref making decisions in our disadvantage should be careful what they say.

:agree: We were quite fortunate towards the end. We need to stop allowing teams opportunities and giving them hope. We played a solid first half, and then allowed that fucker who used to send crosses into orbit to look like a legend by scoring that easily avoidable goal (I guess they didn't close him down cuz they know he is a clown and can't do shit with a ball). Parma did have a couple of chances after that, even after the Amauri sending off. They are a tough team indeed. However, we did manage to squeeze the win. 3 more points and edging ever closer to our 3rd consecutive title.

After us, Parma had the best form over the last 8 matches... heck they were unbeaten since the 2nd of november (0-1 against us)
lets have a look at what parma did in the last months.. because some idiot here is talking about that he never saw juve defending against Parma...

Parma won away to Milan...
Parma won away to Napoli..
Parma played 3-3 away to Inter..
Parma played 2-2 against Fiorentina

If there are people who expect us to win every match with total domination and a 3-0+ scoreline.. they should take a look at our first and second season under conte... Take a look... seriously.... losing twice against Sampdoria..... drawing a $#@!load of matches in our first season...

we are doing a way better job now... while playing more matches and having less players...
:hellyes: Could not have said it better myself. I love all the people saying we played better our first year with Conte. Drawventus was better? Really? We drew 15 matches that season, while not playing in Europe. We were nowhere near as dominant. We've dropped points in 4 matches all season thus far in 13/14.

Fairly sloppy performance from Juve, even if it is somewhat understandable given that the players can't be in great shape just now.

Juve never looked capable of hurting Parma from open play. It was all too slow and lacking in penetration. Key players like Vidal and Lichtsteiner weren't showing the usual inclination to burst forward to break lines or create space for others.

So Juve were reduced to threatening from quick breaks when Parma lost possession in dangerous areas, which is how the two goals came about.

Once Juve were ahead and had realised they didn't look like threatening Parma, they fell into the trap of having nothingy casual possession and risked letting Parma back into the game from a silly error in possession.

Not a new error, but this over-covering the centre of the pitch is something that Juve need to deal with. Both the goal and the late chance Parma had came from Juve pulling too many people into the middle of the box when defending a cross. You've got three centre-halves - how many more people do you need to defend a standard crosss?

Either Vidal or Lichtsteiner has to be out closer to Molinaro for the goal and Isla has to avoid getting sucked in so narrow on the late chance.

Thought the Amauri red card was justified because the elbow was very high and there was a fair amount of force behind it. Always hard to determine intent, but that was reckless if it wasn't deliberate.

Don't remember the Vidal one, but I would have sent Asamoah off. He fouled Biabiany - stopping a counter-attack in the process - in a very similar situation to how he gothis first yellow card.

The Parma player is the wrong side to get a penalty, he starts his dive from behind Bonucci and then ends up in front of him. Nice attempt by him though.
