But if we were to lose this game without him, the next will be a critical one aswell. There are no 'easy' games for us right now.

He's supposed to be a better footballer than Sali, so I don't see why not. We have the lad on loan, we have to start playing him. If he wants to play for a team like ours he'll have to be able to cope with that pressure imo.

so instead of breaking him in against a livrono(to start) we should throw him in a derby where he could lose all his confidence and render him useless for the rest of the year? I honestly dont even know why i discuss risk around here

it would be his first game in a critical one, of course he shouldnt start
It's not like he just came to Italy.

He knows the play and this shouldn't be an extra burden on his shoulder. Every game could be critical nowadays because we're simply terrible. We need him here, not Sali on that position.

I simply don't see as much of a problem in him starting as you do. The alternatives are simply not good enough. I wouldn't start him over Melo or even Poulsen, but since Sali would be the alternative right now, I would.

But I guess you know best..

We should watch for his confidence? If he's a pussy he can return to Livorno. We're in deep sh*t here and it's time for him to step up and show his worth and not to hide behind mountains.
