Very happy for the win.I am afraid about Morata. That doesn't look good .He was doubtful for the game .I know that this was very important game but if he wasn't fit enough why the risk. The same was with Marchisio.I will be scary to see how long he will be out.Hopefully not for a month. Also Mandzukic had the same injury like against City.I just wish that this is not two players injury.

Good game and very important three points. At this time we should not look at the table but look to keep on winning no matter how. We took the lead in an ugly way but the ball that Pereyra sent was too damn sexy so let's not complain. We got pressed at some points but that was expected playing Genoa at their home ground and considering our terrible start of the season. I thought Dybala should have come in when we went two up, he could have burried those opportunities that Mandzukic wasted. As for our injuries, this is getting silly now.

Buffon 6.5

Lichtsteiner 6.5
Barzagli 6,5
Chiellini 7
Evra 7

Lemina 6.5
Pogba 7
Sturaro 6.5
Cuadrado 7

Mandzukic 6
Morata N.R

Pereyra 7.5
Hernanes 6.5
Zaza 6

By the way I'm also happier for the win because of the way they beat us last season in the 90th minute after we outplayed them. That loss pissed me off

Defense was solid, that's all about that. Lemina did well, at least he didn't do any mistakes, same goes with Sturaro. Pogba wasn't anything special but nice penalty and basically scored the first goal too. Cuadrado and Pereyra were our best players! Manzu was yet again fucking meh, shouldn't start ahead of Dybala ever again.

Good game overall. 3 important points. 4-3-3 with a clean sheet. You can still see the team still lacks that smooth play but it is understandable. Great game from Pereyra on the wing, and from Pogba. But Cuadrado was again the man of the match for me.

Good win, we didn't start very well but after the goal looked a lot more composed. Hope morata isn't out with that injury and hopefully mandzu sits on the bench for a little while now and we let dybala play. Disappointed with Marino again today

We didnt play a great game but the important thing is that we won!
We definitely need some more quality up front but I was happy to see us solid at the back!

It was, we had like conceaded a goal in last 7 Serie A games up til today.
I think we turned the corner defensively in Manchester. Buffon was amazing but the defense stayed very disciplined and didn't give up any of the sloppy goals that has plagued the team this year. The goal conceded in Manchester should have obviously been disallowed. Hopefully we can now start a streak of clean sheets.

There are many dangerous sides in Serie A this season, the start of this game proved it once again.

Many mines out there to step on for Roma and Inter, some for us too. But in the end I think we will cope much better.

We have the most balanced team and considerable depth.

- Good debut for Lemina. He's not flashy but solid defensively
- Looks like 442 is Allegri's favorite formation. After all drama over getting a trequartista, the player who's running the offense is Cuadrado, which fine, only that we don't have any backup for him
- 442 with Sturaro and Lemina/Hernanes looks good defensively.
- When is a good time to tell Pogba to stop showboating and play football? Somebody has to tell him, right? It's getting super annoying
- Our most expensive purchases did not get even 5 minutes of playing time. With Mandzukic fatigue and Morata's injury Dybala will probably play from the start next game, but somehow Alex Sandro should get some playing time
- Zaza needs to play regularly in another team. The role of 5th striker suits likes of Matri and Quag most. Zaza was desperate to prove himself and got everything wrong

Yes it was. Keeper did a 50/50 and could easily save it if he had dived the other way
