An away match against Gasperini's Genoa is another tough Serie A fixture. We need to play a team like Frosinone or Carpi to let our frustrations out on them and gain some confidence in the league.

433 with our best attacker, the only genuinely threatening attacking player ATM in Cuadrado is the obvious choice here.

Buffon
Steiner Bonucci Chiellini Evra
Sturaro Hernanes Pogba
Cuadrado - Morata - Dybala

I appreciate Sturaro's hustle, and it pays off at times, but he simply isn't good enough on a technical level to start for us. Need Lemina to get integrated into the team ASAP. He should come on after 60 mins and start in the next game vs the "lowly" Frosinone. Hopefully, that'll get him ready-enough for Napoli.

That formation is the way to go.

Building on a win, I think that Allegri will start with the same XI on sunday, with maximum 1 change (AS for Evra?).
During the game he will try Lemina, put in Dybala to finish them off and possibly Zaza.

To build on the momentum, most of the 11 vs city should play again. Maybe sqeeuze dybala, Sandro or Pereyra somewhere in there.
Especially the defenders, Pogba, Hernanes and Cuadrado.

    Switch a couple:
    -Lemina for Stuaro
-Dybala for Morata (use as a sub)
    -Sandro for Evra
    -Rugani for a CB.

I just love it. Have been there just once for three days but loved every bit of it. We stayed in Georgetown which was Amazing, and the National Mall has so much to do and see.
Yes Georgetown is the best part of DC IMO. The Mall is fun with all the museums.

Agree on Lemina and Sandro. Maybe Dybala if Morata needs to have a rest buit maybe Mandzukic needs a rest more. But no for Rugani, we play Frosinone mid-week right after Genoa and Rugani would be a wise choice to start him there.

I don't want to overuse Morata yet since he only came back recently from injury. That's why I was hoping to see Dybala and some creativty up top for us.

Is Mandzkuc fit to play? Isn't he injured from yesterday?

Agree about Rugani, didn't realize who we play next.

If Morata feels well then it suits him best to play to get match fit. Mandzukic was subbed due to a knock, no?

Good point about Morata - hopefully our players are honest with the physios and not trying to play through the pain only to make it worse. And yes, Mandzukic was taken off from an injury he couldn't play on. Some said he was seen limping to the team bus after the showers yesterday.

I don't wanna mix the lineup for the sake of it, but these injuries have me worried and we finally have some momentum so its tricky for me mentally because at the same time I don't want any more injuries. :D
