I like to say to these two players I'm sorry I ever disrespected your effort on the pitch.
:blaise::sami:
The two of you combined have a higher football IQ than the entire Juve present midfield.

@DAiDEViL What's sad for me is seeing #19 still on the team for 2021-22.

Sarri would win this game, the squad ain't winning no CL but we win the league with someone that has a plan and formation. Pirlo still doesn't know his best team nor positions for some of his players 33 games in.
Many are saying that we still have the best team on paper and we'd have won the scudetto with a better coach.

We can't know, of course. I strongly believe, though, that no coach would have won the scudetto with this Juve this year.
One might say that we had almost the same team last season and we won with Sarri. It wasn't the same team. Yes, only 4 changes compared to the 11 who played the most last year and this year, and only 3 players from last year's starting XI aren't here now, but those players count. Pjanic-Matuidi-Bentancur played the most last year in midfield. It's Bentancur-Rabiot, or Bentancur-Rabiot-McKennie this year. We basically changed the midfield and this is where we are weakest.
Also, Inter are stronger this year. Not as much with new players (although one can't disregard the addition of Hakimi, Perisic, and even Vidal), as much as a year more for Conte makes the difference. Then there is covid and injuries, where Inter had more luck than we did. We had an excellent Dybala last year, and an injured Dybala this year. Inter concentrating only on the league after the CL elimination helped them too, and so on.

I think that with better coach, this team would have ended 2nd, without much trouble. So, the coach is a huge problem, but just as big a problem is the overall quality of the players.

Had to give #3 my vote for MOM with there being very little else worthy of it. Maybe a couple over aggressive fouls but got in position to score a goal but tried to feed CR7. And what midfielder moved forward towards Fior goal trying to create? All i saw was mostly side passes. Except #3 at least twice moved forward aggressively attempting what the MF should be doing.

Fior as a team was so tired towards the end and Juve just kept up the 20 pass offensive with not much materializing. Except Kulu to CR7 and his worst miss I have ever seen. Juve IMO should have been more in a hurry like #3 was moving forward the last portion of the game.

Chiellini moving forward with the ball has nothing to do with Giorgio doing well and being motivated or brave. I've seen this under 5-6 different coaches in matches where we were clueless. It happens only because the opposition is closing everyone else and they don't care if Chiellini has the ball, because they know he can't do anything with it.

@Alen

I agree somewhat but its the way that we play which is the most telling factor. We are so disorganised all over the pitch, no idea how to attack or build play so its down to individual brilliance. Sarri only had a plan A but it was a plan that nearly all the players could understand and work to. This season we have better wingers and more mobile midfielders that given instructions, would probably play much better. Sure, Inter did well but they've had little pressure from the rest of the league and are cruising now.

Key word. Current bunch maybe are more talented on ball players but acts like it just doesn't care. Horrible mentality. Sami and Blaise are dearly missed, as well as Grande Miralem

Thanks for your knowledge Alen.

Just went this site to see this .....
Ratings:
Szczesny 6.5; De Ligt 5.5, Bonucci 5 (46′ Kulusevski 5.5), Chiellini 6.5; Cuadrado 7, Ramsey 4.5 (69′ McKennie 5.5), Bentancur 5, Rabiot 5, Alex Sandro 5.5; Dybala 4.5 (46′ Morata 6.5), Cristiano Ronaldo5.

And this from another site ....
Juventus XI
Wojciech Szczesny – 6
A mixed bag for the other Polish goalkeeper. Although he made some vital saves – including a suicidal dive to beat Vlahovic to the ball – caused fumbles inside the penalty box on a couple of occasions.
Leonardo Bonucci – 5.5
Whilst it wasn’t a horrible performance from the veteran, it felt that his presence as a third center back was unnecessary, and was taken off by half time.
Matthijs de Ligt – 6
The Dutch defender was mostly dominant, but he ended up committing too many fouls, which eventually earned him a yellow card.
Giorgio Chiellini – 6.5
An imposing performance from the captain who kept his side in the match despite suffering from an onslaught early on. Helped in bringing the ball forward as well.
Alex Sandro – 5.5
The Brazilian was the man of the match for Juventus against Parma last Wednesday, but was completely nullified by the Fiorentina defenders on Sunday.
Juan Cuadrado – 6.5
Even though the Colombian struggled to break through the lines of his former club during the first half, he found his rythme in the second, and caused the Viola defenses several scars.
Rodrigo Bentancur – 6.5
The former Boca Juniors man was reliable in defense, making several interceptions, and he gifted Ramsey a golden opportunity to level the score late in the first half.
Adrien Rabiot – 5.5
The French international gave away a needless penalty kick after handing the ball inside the area, and didn’t offer much for his side throughout the match.
Aaron Ramsey – 5
Another forgettable display from the former Arsenal man, who didn’t seem to have a clear playing role. Wasted his side’s lone chance in the first half after finding himself one-on-one with Dragowski.
Paulo Dybala – 5.5
The Argentine had to drop too deep in order to receive the ball, and Pirlo decided to sacrifice him at half time, even though he helped in creating the only major opportunity of the first 45 minutes.
Cristiano Ronaldo – 5
The Portuguese superstar is currently suffering from a torrid run, as nothing seems to be working out in his favor. Although he threatened with few runs in the second half, his touch was mostly clumsy, and wasted the victory for his team as he failed to connect with a sublime cross from Kulusevski late in the match. Moreover, he repeatedly went to the ground too easily.

Maybe the 2nd site forgot to write ..... "the ball forward as well USELESSLY." If only he could have moved the ball forward WELL today he might have received a 7 or 7.5 score.

Missed this. Saw the highlights and not keen on watching the entire match, maybe will watch the 1st half later. But why did Pirlo change the formation? Danilo injured? surely not rest, next match is next weekend against Udinese.

And it usually happens with the 3-5-2 because the midfielders suck and then Chiellini is the only player with some space and time in the opponent’s half, so he becomes our playmaker. It’s a sad joke.
