This Empoli never really tested our defence and it was an easy debut for both Balzaretti and Kovac. Both looking fairly settled in. Though never really tested. The Nedved-lookalike positioned well in attack, but his right leg seems to be somewhat of a chocolate leg. Abbiati looked less nervous compared to the last match as well. Zambrotta wasn't needed in attack this match and rightfully so did not waste much energy in sprinting up and down the flanks. Cannavaro was his good old self. Pesso in the first half solid as well.
please may i ask, what the hell does that mean?

I liked that both two really enjoyed that space left by Empoli to run forward and deliver sly passes. Moreover, when Empoli closed down on both they were both ready to deliver to both the flanks.

The most important aspect of the two centrals was their skill in gaining back possession and the only attacks that came from Empoli were through long deep balls.
You're completely right. Both Emerson and Vieira had their fare share of penetrating through balls, creating a handfull of good chances.

I meant that his right leg seems to be somewhat poor compared to his left leg.

I think we are playing better away from home, because when we play at home, the other teams defend only and juve has problems to get good chances. away from home we have more space.
You cannot generalize from only two games, wait and see. Then Empoli was a weak side and we scored four goals without making such an effort; all the players were calm and in the second half they barely wasted a drop of sweat.

That was good as a morale booster and I hope it gives us a momentum, but as for now I cannot say anything about home or away games.

The only thing that bothered me a little was that i have yet to see Trezeguet pass Zlatan and give him a good chave to score, Its the only thing i dont like about the partnership.

I mean.

Against Benfica Zlatan passed Trez for an easy tap in.

Against Chievo he gave him a good head pass once and basicly gave him another pass that left Trez alone with the keeper(too bad Trez didnt score).

Today, same thing Zlatan passed Trez and Trez scored a goal.

But when it came to Trez passing Zlatan Trez instead placed the ball from great distance in goal(Great goal). It would of been a safer play to pass Zlatan in that position.

A liitle selfish from Trez i have to say.

Vieira went stale

Patrick Vieira says he has a much greater chance of conquering Europe with Juventus than at Arsenal, whilst also saying he went stale at Highbury.

The French midfielder joined Juve for £13.5 million during the summer and the former Arsenal skipper has hit out at his old side.

Vieira says he has much more of a chance of landing the UEFA Champions League now he has swapped North London for Turin.

"At least on paper, I think I have a better chance of winning the Champions League with Juventus," said Vieira.

"Our squad is very strong. Very often there are two internationals competing for each place in the team."

Vieira says that he feels more pressure to win things at Juventus, adding that he had gone stale in the past couple of years at Arsene Wenger's side.

"There's a pressure here in Turin, a pressure on people to win, a determination in the air and in the environment that I hadn't felt in a long time at Arsenal.

"I have an excellent midfield partner with Emerson and we have a very strong midfield.

"Most of all, though, there's such a will to win here because Juventus are so used to winning.

"I feel pressure on me to do well and that hadn't happened in a while at Arsenal.

"I wasn't at my best over the last two years but each time my form has dipped I've been capable of pulling myself back up again.

"I needed a new challenge."

What are you talking about?? Trezeguet is a finisher, he's a natural finisher, his job is to score goals! He might pass the ball once or twice, but don't ever expect an assist or a through pass or a sly pass that might be a goal unless it was not meant.

if a player is sure that he can score, than he should shot. It was at 3-0 and he can do what he wants.

Im talking about how Trezeguet was a little selfish today on the pitch, natural finisher or not.
