Buffon; Licht, Bonucci, Ogbonna, Caceres; Vidal, Marchisio, Asa, Pogba; Coman, Tevez

That was our team who played away vs Chievo on 30th August in the first game of season 2014/2015, which was Allegri`s official debut for Juve. Four years later it looks like Bonucci will be the only one from those 11 to start the game on Saturday... :D

looks more like a 433?
yeah, but dybala is still not a winger, so...

tbh i don't really care about juve's formation anymore. with max, it's always something quite flexible, and it's always different for possession and defense. it's probably 4-something-something. :boh:

fuccckkk I've never been this amped for a season opener.

time is crawling right now. Love that the game is on a saturday too, hell yeah. Gonna get some guys over to the house to play some pool before the match, maybe a pillow fight, etc. Who knows. World is our oyster thanks to GOAT.

and what a game it was from Coman, it was probably responsible for half the fee Bayern paid for him :D

I like 442 more, both flanks can shift up and make 244, impossible to lose the ball that way.

But when we will, we will concede lol
It’s actually a 4-2-3-1. Thats the formation we will see the most this season. If we had better midfielders Allegri would play 4-3-3.

Cuadrado will play as RW ahead of Berna in 4-2-3-1. Unless Cuadrado plays as RB.

:D I just rewatched the highlights, it was soo typical Juve game, we hit the bar 3 or 4 times, also missed 3 or 4 sure goals and then, at the end of the game Chievo missed a 100% chance to score and make it 1:1...

Our defensive shape is always 442, no matter if it's 433 or 4231 in attack.

With 6 CMs, plan is prolly to play 433 mostly. At the start anyway. Could easily change midway through season like before.

Unless we need the money to balance books, keeping Kean would be good. Otherwise, we'll be one attacker short if primary formation becomes 4231.

    Probable for this game IMO:

    Woj
    Cuadrado Bonucci Chiellini AS
    Can Pjanic Marchisio
    Dybala CR7 DC

No disrespect to Sami, but hope he's dumped in favor of Can right away.

Most of those guys have worked together the whole summer. Allegri usually likes to have faith in those guys at the start.

Don't think even Allegri will bench Ronaldo in first game. :D
Not sure about it myself, but I see him getting 30 minutes or so in this game.

Allgeri benched both Pjanic and Higuain at the start too.

:agree: Allegri never rushes players into his lineups. I'm sure Ronaldo will be an exception (possibly Cancelo too) but otherwise I would expect to see integration done gradually as usual.

Could our ideal lineup look anything like this?
I think we have the strongest attack in Europe maybe on par with PSG?
