Yeah, I don't think it makes a difference to the victims or their families if Chievo-Juventus goes ahead.
It's a nice gesture if they do a minute of silence for the games that are not involving Genovese teams, but there's no strong enough correlation for the other teams to postpone all games like for Astori's death

Well regardless it's fine
The thing is Saturday has been declared as a national day of mourning. So it's very likely games will be postponed.

The thing is Saturday has been declared as a national day of mourning. So it's very likely games will be postponed.
“The President of the Lega Serie A, given the requests for postponement of their matches scheduled for Sunday, August 19 at 20.30 on the part of the clubs Sampdoria and Genoa as result of the tragedy which hit Genoa, and having received the assent of both Fiorentina and Milan, has decided on the postponement of the Sampdoria-Fiorentina and Milan-Genoa matches,” a statement confirms.

“The rescheduled dates for the two matches will be announced in the coming days, in compliance with the regulations in force.

"In all the other matches scheduled for the first round of the Serie A TIM, in memory of the victims of Genoa, one minute of silence will be observed before the start and the teams will take to the field with black armbands."

It can still change but :xfinger:

Games will probably go on but with a moment of silence at the beginning. Probably wearing some ribbon/armband to show support, etc.

FA officially confirm all other games will be played.
    Good

Should every single sport be postponed in the US until the CA wildfires are out? No, seems crazy to stop an entire league. I can see the games from that city being postponed, but the entire league?

Milan fans are having a meltdown since Napoli will have played one more game and Tchalanoglu is going to be suspended against them. So mad that other games will be played

With Stururu gone and MDS unavailable it is close to impossible for Max to get the starting 11 wrong, not just for this game but overall, so Im not worried who will start and who'll come as a sub. Max loves Mario and Cuads, so do I, but if DCosta is fine and ready to play, he should be on the field. Cant wait for the season to start... :D

Juventus probable XI vs Chievo; Szczesny; Cancelo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Emre Can, Pjanic; Bernardeschi, Dybala, Douglas Costa; Cristiano Ronaldo. (Sportmediaset)

IMHO no Mandzukic or Cuadrado thats not happening. Allegri loves will field one of them.
