Why the fuck is Vidal still not starting :sergio: Krasic and Vidal need to start and if Quag doesn't come on I will get angry.

So now Grosso is playing?!? So we're gonna suffer with the LB problem all season unless they get a proper one in January.
Won't even get started on the whole Ziegler situation...

Right now its Grosso over De Ceglie 100% of the time. De Ceglie has shown that he can be a bigger liability than Grosso (a hard acheivement in itself) defensively.

Would like to see Vidal instead of Marchisio, Claudio offers us very little, he cant even break play down. I hope that lineup is wrong and Vidal starts. Also would have liked to have seen Quags. Guy deserves an opportunity

Is Pepe a new Messi for us or something? He plays left then he plays right as if he was extraordinary at both wings. Wtf Conte is thinking? :sergio:

I definitely want to see Vidal start and I like him more than Marchisio, but I don't think Claudio was bad at all in the opening 3 rounds. Talking strictly about his duties in midfield. He's done the job very well. He's almost doing the job Gattuso and Ambrosini had to do together in Milan. Against Bologna, especially after Vucinic's red card, he covered so much ground (It sucks that there aren't any stats for serie A about how much did a particular player run during a match) that he couldn't even walk or kick a ball in the last 15 minutes. This takes a lot from his attacking contribution. Still early for talking with any certainty, but I feel that Pirlo would not have been allowed to play the way he did if Marchisio didn't play or if Marchisio's role was less tactical and he was allowed to play more attacking and have more ball possession, which would've made him less invisible. I wonder how will a 4-3-3 work.

Is it so hard to start with this?

Buffon
Licht-Barza-Chiellini-Grosso
Vidal-Pirlo
Krasic-Quag-Matri-Elia

I think it's bullshit with the language thing. Look at Aguero, he probably knows very little english if any at all and is scoring hat-tricks left right and centre. Pepe is simply not good enough yet Conte still plays him :sergio: Just take a risk that will pay off and play the above formation....

The klan took Alen.
:D No they didn't.

But think about it. Everyone expected Pirlo to suck in 4-4-2 and our midfield to be overrun. So far it's not the case and I think that Marchisio's work in midfield contributes a lot for this. That and the fact that we played against bad teams.

Look at the teams we've been facing, Parma, Siena and Bologna. Too early to say if our midfield will be overrunned or not. I think we'll know come Meeelan.

I'm not sure where they are available online, but they certainly show this sort of info during the match when a player is subbed, etc. Perhaps not on every broadcast, I guess.

I think we can survive with Pirlo in a midfield two against the smaller "provincial" teams (esp if they also play 4-4-2). When we play bigger teams with better midfielders who can mark Pirlo out of a game, I think we should play with a 4-3-3 to afford him more protection.

They show that only in CL/EL games, I am not sure Serie A has this kind of statistics running during matches.

But we have become a provincial team ourselves.

Not playing Vidal may get to the point where it really begins to affect his confidence. Especially with Bayern talking smack in the paper about it.
