they will try to counter attack us i would pick Cacares as cb to cover in speed but we will probably rely on the usual three and MVP to score.

I'd drop Vidal. Hopefully the two wingbacks will be fit.

Buffon
Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini
Lichtsteiner - Pogba - Pirlo - Marchisio - Asamoah
Vucinic - Quagliarella/Bendtner

Catania does always give a headache but i have a feeling this will be a walk in the park. They havent been showing up for the past few games against us and Conte's spanking of the teams after yesterday's humiliating show is probably gonna make the team kill Catania.

Here's for an easy 0-2 win :malt:

Vidal, bendtner.

Some players really need to be benched for this one. Vidal looks out of form, Giac is poor when deployed in the middle, and our attackers should all go to shooting school (with the exception of Vucinic).

I see us winning this one, simply because the rest of Serie A is simply pathetic and weak. We may struggle, but we'll eventually win unconvincingly.

That's not true. Serie A being pathetic and weak. Everyone has been saying that because we're Serie A champions and Serie A table toppers right now and lost last night. But I think we didn't win because of our own problems, not because we're illusioned to be good because of the league we come from. We used tactics and players only fit for Serie A true, but I feel like Napoli, Inter, Fiorentina, Roma, etc. could have won and beat those Danes yesterday. We just prepared totally wrong.

Serie A isn't as strong as it used to be. It's true that it may be more competitive, but that has more to do with the fact that a lot of big clubs have become weaker, and the lesser lights have bridged the gap somewhat. We win in Serie A (and we have been quite unconvincing in a few of our outings this season) because other teams fail to exploit our weaknesses, and we are far more cynical and efficient, the complete opposite of how we play in the CL.

Such a poseur.
No he's just that bad. I've given him the benefit of the doubt this season, he's had 11 competitive games to prove himself in. The quality has been swinging, but never has he delivered but a fraction of what we expected from him.
