TBH, I personaly am nowhere near happy with our performance.

Our build up play is terrible, most of the time we just send long balls from the defence and hope Zlatan gets it. We cant string 5 passes together in midfield and ve seem completely disorganized in attack. We need to be able to create a few chances against the last placed team in the league, this was pathetic if you ask me.
Agreed. Apart from some nice one touch moves involving Zambrotta, Olivera and Ibrahimovic, our build up was horrible. Zebina just pumps the ball forward looking for the huge frame of Zlatan as you pointed out. I honestly don't see us breaking down teams with a fairly good backline and if we want to win the Champions' League we should be dominating teams like Atalanta and winning by large margins. Capello just wants us to win, whether we play poorly, defensively, it doesn't matter to him and in the future we are going to have to face the consequences. We have seen what can happen when you score and try to defend the lead and that was against teams such as Parma and Cagliari. Imagine what Europe's best will do to us...

I like how he celebrate his goals....
Me too... he always looks so happy whenever he scores a goal; I've never seen him do the "Damn I'm good, everyone look at me" celebration, it's always an almost child-like explosion of his emotions :touched:

Yeah, I noticed that as well. His celebrations are quite unlike Zlatan's :D

On the DP issue, I thought he did quite alright in his 30 minutes of play, aside from the penalty. He got involved, his passes were fine, he had a shot on goal of the kind that he does score from time to time and generally I think he was quite positive. That being said, he didn't change the match in any way, it's not like Juve really pressed to score either but I couldn't say there was much of a difference in the way the game was played, which shows his old magic just isn't there anymore. Not a very strong performance but a decent one.

Constrasted with what people said about him in the past, that he couldn't put one pass right, kept losing the ball etc, I think coming off the bench has served him rather well. I think it would be a good idea to give Trez a long run in the first team while Zlatan and DP share the second spot a bit, that could spur some competition from both and hopefully serve the team better.

I couldn't disagree with this assessment even if I tried! :D
