Whatever you say or mean, Del Piero should have started the game yesterday ahead of Iaquinta. I had a flash of a fresh new Iaquinta coming in instead of Del Piero when the substitution was made, action on the field and movement that would make Kaladze, Nesta, Oddo and Serginho like four fools not knowing what are they doing on a football field.
I'm not disagreeing there, I'm just stating what I saw, not just from last nights match. Del Piero doesnt have the strenght to take on top Serie A defenders, nor doesnt he have the pace to dribble them anymore.

He needs to adjust his game accordingly, not try to do things he could 2 or 3 years ago because that just isnt possible any more.

Im not saying he isnt still importnant to Juve, he is, but he needs to play with his brains more.

For example, that dribble he tried between 3 Milan defenders was never going to suceed and he should accept that he cant do things he once could.

It won't be easy, they are working very hard for it, and it is very obvious. Last season I really enjoyed with Deschamps work for the promotion, and this year I am enjoying it more. I never enjoyed watching Juve this much, when things are going very hard for us, it's more fun to be a supporter than watching those boring wins we used to watch the past decade. People should realize that we are a new team, not filled with eleven world class players in the starting line up, those days will come too, but not this soon, and not even in January.
Well said.

Ale should definitely have started or atleast brought on at halftime...big matches are for a big match player, it would have been the perfect opportunity to prove all the doubters wrong....Iaquinta was out of sight the whole game and did not provide any cutting edge whatsoever....but a really great game from Chiellini (almost completely neutralized Kaka), Zebina, Nocerino and the MOTM Gianluigi Buffon

I Agree, i hope this doesnt ruin Iaquinta's run of form!.. I was satisfied with the result considering i thought milan would try to come out and play brilliantly in an attempt to snap out of their home form..

If only trez snuck his shot through:(

IMO Buffon was without a doubt our man of he match. The Kaka save could have buried us. Those are the times that decide matches like that . I always expected it to be a battling kind of game which is why I knew Tiago wouldnt come on. I think CR was right here coz Milan build the goals for the midfield and we needed to fight them there. This meant changes came only in terms of 'like-for-like' position subs in front and at the wings. ONe thing that I think he gets wrong though is the timing though.

Chiellini is an ABSOLUTLEY superb CB.Why Barzagli is ahead of him in the Azzurri pecking order beats me

Now that everyone has calmed down .. I say we have 7 games ahead .. we have each in our hands and we can all 21 points ..

Atalanta
@ Lazio
Siena
@ Catania
Sampdoria
@Livorno
Cagliari

Only Lazio (at Olimpico Roma .. fearsome, yet we managed Roma who are by far much better) and Sampdoria look like real threats .. but we could handle them ..

EDIT: .. Atalanta will be really motivated after their win over Napoli .. I guess they're tough too .. still we can manage ..
