This game was a lesson in how to not control a game. In the end we where lucky to come away with 3 points.

Our inability to control the midfield, our horrible passing and low amount of chances created is worrying.

All the biggest sides in world football have the abilty to crush and win big. Thats how players can relax and get easy wins in series and cl.
We dont have the ability and it will take a miracle to win cl, grinding out results.

Maybe best not to overanalyse the game, but really bad play in the second half. Lemina did well enough individually, but as a whole the midfield was nowhere.

When we're 1-0 up we go straight into "defend the lead" mode.

True, and normaly that would be ok, but current midfield is too weak to control the match. Time to adjust the gameplan. Play to our strenght, our atterckers and wingers. Our midfield is fucked anyway, might as well get the ball forward and attack. The less our midfield is involved the better

I agree let's not get too carried away with it but the worry is over an accumulation of games is that we seem incapable of passing and keeping the ball like we did a couple of years ago (and for 6 months last season).

It's such a worry that we can't use this to control games. This team is losing its identity and Marotta made a massive mistake this summer not fixing the midfield which is quite simply nowhere near the level it needs to be at present.

The passing has always been an issue. I was expecting a lot more today, but mandzu was pretty wasteful. Oh well, 3pts is 3pts. Hopefully allegri doesn't overthink the dz game.

Lol, but we do it much to seldom. We are not getting our money worth. Look how ruthless bayern, real and barca are. Thats the way to instill fear and respect from opponents. We are constantly giving even the smallest of side hope, and that means hard, exhusting matches

Why put lemina a fking STOPPER in a 5 man midfield, expect khedira a legless cdm to create offense...and most annoying of all, try to create with wingbacks instead of wingers? Wtf is the point of this formation? We got 2 decent stoppers in khedira/lemina let them to that alone. Let pjanic more freedom..even our reserves are expected to win these matches easily..we can rest players and still do 4-2-3-1..asa and pjaca at the wings, pjanic behind Higuain..hell, if not this, you can pick almost any system and we will be better off...352 fanboys expect matches like this if changes arent made.

Yeah Allegri needs to get a handle on our midfield quickly. Needs to find a way to get it ticking again. Though with the current personel it won't tick as well as it has in the past anyway.

I know this is wrong, but I swear the moment I saw that Asamofo guy limping, I was actually happy. This is how pathetic he looks for us.

BTW, where the hell was Pjanic all night long? I want him to command our attacks, but instead he looks freaking clueless. At this pace, by the time he starts to get a sense of what he's supposed to do, and actually manages to string some decent one-tows with our strikers, the season will be over.

Some of you guys need to realize this was palermos game of the season as is for pretty much majority of rest of the league facing Juve. Allegry was never gonna sub Higuain or Mandzu and he threw in Cuadrado in as well. Quite a mess but still 3points, bring on next.

I have never seen uglier win that this .
Horible match.
Pjanic was flop of the match and I think that he doesn't have 90 minutes in his legs.He looks tired.
And Allegri sub him with Asa???To defend 1-0.
Asa is finished with this injury at least with us.
Lemina thinks that he is Pogba with his long range shots.
How many chances Mandzukic needs to score?
Only Higuain was good.
With this kind of display we will have problems even in Serie A with this kind of display.CL is out of our reach.
Khedira was bad too.

His role is not clear cut..his job right now is the same as khedira and lemina..even if pjanic is capable of creating, he isnt being given the conditions to do so..%100 Allegri at fault
