No idea how and where you saw quality in Joao Maria. He was absolutely mediocre at the WC. He totally fits Inter. Overpaid for nothing.

Others are good but as a team they'll show nothing. Plus their coach sucks too.

This should be an easy match for us. I expect nothing but a win. They are just a mid-table club at this point.
To be fair to Inter, we make any italian club look mediocre.

I actually think they have the quality to make a run for a top 4 finish. De Boer, tho :/

I think Napoli is the only team that's good in Serie A (bar us of course).

Other are so fragile and mediocre it's sad really. Roma has gotten weaker while both Inter and Milan are meh.

I dislike Joao maria alot. Waiting for all the promise the commentators of each portugal game were giving. So he must have some ability to gain all that promise

:agree:

Depth of Italian football is pathetic. If not for us Serie A would be he joke of Europe. The third spot in the league is up for anyone to take. Arguably it could be between Roma, Inter, Fiorentina, Lazio, Milan, Genoa, or Sampdoria.

We were considering Gabriel Barbosa all summer, but didnt go trough cause of the costfull construction. Inter did, as they are where we we were when we paid 27 mil for the likes of Quag, Vucinic or matri.

Icardi's goalscoring record of last season is clear. These two combined is easily the thirdbest serie a striker duo after Dybala-Higuain, and Mandzukic Pjaca.

Supplement with known qaulity as Candreva, banega, highly praised Joao Maria and a destroyer like Medel, and there is alot to work with. They should always finish top 4 with a normal coach.

Even they can challenge, altho I don't think they have the depth to be competitive on two fronts. Hopefully they'll perform in EL.
I really hope so. This domestical talent focussing team that 3-0'd bilbao just days after getting the shaft from juve, on the same day that inter got 0-2'd at home by beersheva (who?) , goddamn

May that contribute for a while. Hope they qualify for at least the EL

Uhm, Sassuolo ?
Candreva is a very useful player IF he has right players around him which imo he doesn't. And I still believe Mario is praised for nothing.

Medel is good but he disappears quite often.

I guess we'll have to disagree cause I see their squad as pretty much shit.

They got probably the second best prima punta in serie a, and an SS that juve wanted to get.

Banega and Candreva are good, and Medel should be able to focus on his role, nothing else.

A good coach will make that work, despite their indeed, crap defence

Latest probable lineups according to TJ:
Juventus (3-5-2): Buffon; Benatia, Bonucci, Chiellini; Lichtsteiner, Khedira, Pjanic, Asamoah, Alex Sandro; Mandzukic, Dybala.

I fucking knew we'd Bench Higuain. It's Juve tradition to spend 20 years slowly integrating your new players even when they are clearly better than their competition.

Hopefully before he's 32 he'll play in all of the big matches when fit, like you know, every other top player at every other top club in the history of the game. Wonder if Sandro will finally play in big CL games next season.

I can see Higuaín being benched for this game.

Squad rotation system: managerial device, whereby the manager selects from a large number of players in first team games, rather than having a regular first eleven
