he hated our guts during his napoli years too, the same way materazzi did. i'm not sure whether he's up to the task of making unbiased, considered choices. i'd like to be wrong about him, but if i'm not, after lazio's, we can forget roma's players too.
Normally if he is that powerful, like Napoli owner or Lazio owner, I would say fugaboutit, but he is just an employee, and Roma's owner is IDGAF american in Pallotta who seems to see no value in sentimentality, with how he ran Totti out of town, and his general distant way to run the club. De Sanctis might be Petrachi:ed too if he doesnt toe the company line, which is the bottomline. Pallotta seems like a numbers guy, and since Roma were denied a new stadium, he has made Roma a way more of a cheap selling club then they ever been before.
in 18 months he has fired Monchi and Petrachi, both had the distinct trait of trying to be independant with how they run the footballing side of the club, meaning this owner dont like too much of independant or ambitious thinking in his club.
