Yeah that was actually a very good statement. And Roma are hardly a globally appealing club, so I doubt their main motivation is money, unlike some huge conglomerates elsewhere. Their management been rather progressive in general with stuff like this before.

No Zaniolo?

We can't send Burnturdeski and Rugani there? :sigh:
Actually he was verbally dressing down any notion of making deals with Juventus, and said he has no interest in the mentioned Juve players. Maybe the next sporting director (former goalie Morgan De sanctic) will be more open to it.

More so because after the failed new owners buyout, Roma will be much more desperate to cut cost and get quick bucks to stay afloat.

Surely Zaniolo is inevitable to Juve right?

Maybe no chiesa, no Tonali but we need to get at least one of this upcoming generations best italian talents. At least one.
Zaniolo is the best Italian talent, and we must get him.

I sincerely hope you're right. I just don't trust the buffoons @ HQ to get things done.

Yeah, but the problem is they will want cash.

Thats the issue, they are broke, but we too suffering after pandemic, so wont be that eager to spend only cash as they want. And certainly not 60m in cash after the kid had major injury. So all in all, unless you can sweaten it will couple excellent trade pieces, unlikely roma will ever accept to depart with their only top level asset.

Oh damn, I dont remember this  I remember mainly Totti and Nainggolan for the bitter loser baby tears, not this random dude. But he went way further.

Not that it matters much for his unofficial role as Roma director, he would need to do hard pragmatic choices that would save the club and his job primarily. Only someone of the power of a Lotito can openly be governed by spite, not your regular employees.

You have to be smart and put your ego aside, De Sanctis stinks of bitterness I doubt he can do it.

he hated our guts during his napoli years too, the same way materazzi did. i'm not sure whether he's up to the task of making unbiased, considered choices. i'd like to be wrong about him, but if i'm not, after lazio's, we can forget roma's players too.
