Makes you wonder why in winter sports for example if the remaining events are cancelled the athlete who has collected the most points so far just wins the season but not here

See the response of the Lazio spokesperson a few days ago. They are outright refusing to have a scudetto "snatched away from them". They are having a great season but he mentioned them being "top of the league" and all this nonsense about something that happened 105 years ago.

They don't care how serious the situation is, when push comes to shove and coronavirus has died down there will be recriminations for whatever decision the Lega make. That maggot Lotito would be first in the queue for appeals, courts, lawsuits and all the rest. This is an impossible situation but at some point the usual melodrama and cries will return.

Balotelli: 'They waited for Juve...'
by Football Italia1 hour ago
Brescia forward Mario Balotelli joked “they waited for Juventus to go top” before suspending Serie A due to the Coronavirus outbreak and doubts play will resume on April 3.
Currently on lockdown along with everyone else in Italy, SuperMario spent his time chatting with friend Er Faina on a live Instagram broadcast.

“We’ve got to stay home, guys, people don’t understand the severity of what is happening,” said the Italy international.
“I really miss football, but we have to stay home. If you don’t, I’ll go out there and give you a slap!”
Balotelli also joked about the fact some more Week 26 games were played behind closed doors before Serie A was ordered to halt.
“They had to wait until Juventus went back on top before stopping the league,” he laughed.
“In all honesty, I hope Serie A doesn’t start up again until there are no more cases. I got so angry at the start when I urged everyone to stop and people insulted me for it. Maybe now they’ve finally realised the situation.
“The trouble is that when in Switzerland they say ‘don’t leave your homes,’ people don’t leave. In Italy, that is not the case. If we don’t sort ourselves out soon, we’ll reach 2021 and still have Coronavirus.”
If the season does not conclude regularly, then there are several options on how to proceed, including play-offs for promotion and relegation, freezing the table as it stands or refusing to assign the Scudetto at all.
“My idea would be not to give anyone victory, don’t relegate anyone, so it’d be fair in my view to promote two Serie B teams and play Serie A next season with 22 clubs.
“Either way, I really doubt we’re going to start playing again by April 3.”

Relax. He was joking.

Balotelli has never hated Juventus the same way some Roma and Napoli faithful have.

If he wasn't black, this overrated dumb would have had the same anonymous career as Mattia Destro.

Balotelli is a bit of a tragic dunce mentally (he makes 100% sense in this case tho, was right in everything he said), but you cant be serious with this nonsense. He has squandered his career on pure stupid mentality and approach and was never consistent enough. But he isnt an anonymous player because between 17 to like 22, he was a very explosive top talent. I used to genuinely fear playing against him in his early Inter years. Big game player, tho not a week to week player. Remained a wasted talent instead of a top player he had the potential to be.

I dare you to find even a 5th of stuff like this for Destro. No one ever feared playing against Destro, except when he was in your team and you feared he comes into pre-season with bit too many pizza binges.
