Tbh the concept and construct of ultras is lame af

It’s entertainment that has been globalized. Don’t see pro wrestling having ultras and the people that follow that are pretty fucking lame as it comes.

Grown men banding together to sing fight and chant based on a team and region is just spare.

like you can understand that like under30-35 might be in these organized crime orgs, but when you see 40-50yo guys doing the same thing... you then realize they are just stupid and will never grow.

You live in Milan, Turin have a casual office job in mostly high-income cities, why would you transform into a stupid idiot on matchdays? I will never understand howwww
Weekend warriors bro. Need something to spice up their boring lives.

It’s just shocking how folks think ultras are needed as part of the fabric of the game.

Clubs can earn so much more in ticketing revenue by selling those tickets to fans who will:

1) pay a premium
2) create/contribute to a positive atmosphere

The extra ticketing revenue can then be used for transfers instead of having these lames protest how a club operates.

Ultras are just wanna be tough guys doing Mickey Mouse crimes.

A lot of them aren't fans of the club. They're in it for the money...like ticket touting. Maybe doing things like that is how they earn their living.

Italy's PM's plan is to meet the ultra heads and tell everyone to calm down and come to an agreement lmao.

There was a good Guardian piece on the ultras.

A lot of them are actual criminals too. Drug dealers and members of organised crime. And yes, our ultras have been infiltrated by the ‘Ndrangheta, so we aren’t definitely immune to all of this.
If you treat them as a concern where they require an audience with the PM then it’s obvious that the Italy doesn’t know how to deal with these useless wastes.

The solution to all of this comes cheap, easy and without any concept of paying these lames any attention.

But then again it’s Italy. And we all know how ineffective may they deal with all things.

Since 1908, Inter has represented integration, innovation and progressiveness. The history of Milan is a welcoming one and together we are fighting to build a future without discrimination. Those who do not understand this history do not stand with us.
