It was close, but for so those situations we have VAR, or not? :sergio:

If this photo proves anything, it's that this WASN'T offside. Mertens clearly isn't crossing the blue line (the blue line shows the position of the second-last Atalanta player [the first-last is the GK], it doesn't show the position of the attacker). In "level" situations, FIFA regulations state that "a player is not in offside position if level with the second-last opponent".

I love to jump on the VAR and Serie A hate wagon but I fail to see the problem here. Would the play have been more likely to have been called offside if it was Higgy playing for us? Maybe but the attacking player isn't offside in this photo

Im eagerly waiting for Napoli to slip.. Once they slip they wont be able to recover its their mentality...

$#@!ing crock of $#@!e atalanta, yet they play the match of their lives against us :sergio:
Actually We sucked more than they gave the game of their lives... We got infront and then our leaky defense.. If we play this game now we will humiliate them...
