football is a funny old game that a lot of the time follows form etc but then withouth warning a total loss of form or a sudden chance of fortune occurs which is almost unpredictable.
for example roma went quite a few matches without winning and were stuck in mid table then suddenly 11 wins in 11 games thank you very much.
one thing you cannot do in football is compare one teams result against a team directly with another teams result/performance against the same opposition, it is in no way consistant esp when many months have pasted in between both fixtures. (eg comparing juve v Bayern with milan v bayern etc)
for example juve struggled against bayern milan kicked bayern ass(well in the second leg in first leg bayern ran the show), but wait psv beat milan lyon kicked psv to death etc etc its an endless circle of conflicting results.
every match is different the be all and end all of the champions league up to this point is both milan and juve are in the quaters and past results and performances mean nothing the both are in exactly the same position.

zambrotta is a big loss but juve managed against inter without him although he would have been ideal to deal with serginho.
im still not a huge fan of zebina and if chellini is 100% fit id go with him, balzeretti has shown some promise but is bad when trying to stop oppostion players getting in telling crosses.
thuram and canna are normally very solid in big games and they will not let sheva and inzaghi have anything easy.
while serginho is great going forward he leaves a lot of space behind him this is where juve can exploit also kaladze position is not the best and he is mistake prone.
to midfield where juve lost out in milan, but in all honesty has gattuso;s form or any of his displays come anywhere near that in the last few months.
vieira may not be having the greatest season but he will not allow gattuso run the show like he did last time.
imo in the game in the san siro although both scored, juve dealt with kaka and pirlo very well and it was seedorf who caused us most harm.
the key thing to have learnt from the first meeting is not to sit back and allow milan to come at us and build up a head of steam, juve have to come out bright early on and fight fire with fire and battle for the upper hand.
inzaghi is a bit like montella no matter how good he is playing or how much he is scoring these are players juve normally snuff out of the game with offside traps.
buffon is back and improving game by game while dida is a disaster the milan defense have no faith in him anymore and that is a receipe for disaster.
also trez is due a serie a goal or two.
its gonna be close the winning team will need that bit of luck the difference between hitting a post or crossbar or scoring that opening goal is very little but crucial in these games.
i think juve will start with the same team that started on tuesday except balzer or cheillini in for zambro.
and then its a toss up between Dp and Ibra.
Dp was unlucky against sampdoria that trez was out injured and he was stuck with zalayeta that would have been a good opportunity to see the old Dp/Trez partnership

zambrotta is a big loss without a doubt..but the wrong thing to do is still regret it...we have balzeritti who always impresses against the big teams...he might played badly a
couple of matches....but i feel he will show what he is worth..then we have zebina
