Ecuadorian midfielder, Segundo Alejandro Castillo, has a signed contract with Juventus and might join the team in June.

The player’s agent, Jorge Guerrero, told CRE Satelital (a radio in Ecuador) that the player signed a 5 year contract with the italian club.

It also added that in June Castillo might join Juve, given that first a spot for a foreign player needs to open, thus meanwhile he will still play with the Red Star.

Guerrero explained that even if the player have a contract signed do not means that the player will play in Juventus. However the player has the obligation to put at the club’s disposal which then will decide if the player will stay or be loaned to another club.

Lol Craka...Yeah I dont post much...I mostly enjoy browsing through the forums and only post when is necessary.... Well I am Ecuadorian and he's good for Ecuadorian standards.. I dont think he will be a good addition if we are trying to build up a team for CL next season. However I do think he might be a better option than Sissoko, specially given that it definately wouldn't cost us around 15m

Chilout guys! Maybe he's good, if we get him for cheap why not.

Look at Wenger, he gets his players straight from Africa. For Toure Arsenal paid minimal fee, and he always gets young talents, who are mostly cheap. We goota' rely on our scouts also.

My opinion is that we have to get proven player, but also we could get some new prospect for the future, or more simple try some of our OWN youngsters. I'm not agains signing Castilo, depends from the price.

Castillo Will Head To Blackburn Or Juve - Agent

Jorge Guerrero announced on futbolinmediato.com that his client, initially linked with Paul Ince's Rovers revolution, are also being chased by Juventus, who are looking for more attacking midfield options.

The Ecuadorean will certainly be leaving Serbian outfit Crvena Zvezda this summer.

“It’s Blackburn or Juventus,” confirmed the player's agent, who added that Blackburn offered a three-year contract and Juventus a four-year deal, with the 26-year-old still weighing up his options.

Castillo has previously enjoyed promising three-year spells with Club Deportivo ESPOLI and El Nacional, having played in Serbia since 2006.

The midfielder has made 30 appearances for his country, scoring twice.
