funny how people said that giovinco was going to become a superstar and potential del piero sucesssor but he failed miserably. and how people still don't rate the likes of immobile even though he is showing some much potential.

Dat logic. People wrongly rated a then promising youngster wrongly a few years ago, and because they were wrong then, they should be repeating what they did back then by hyping another promising youngster.

Can't assume that talent alone will make a great footballer, when a large portion of success is down to mental drive. Having the body of an adult athlete would also be useful.
I think the outpour of raw emotion from the entire stadium during an actual competitive game against Atalanta, where the focus was solely on him and not the actual game once he was subbed off will be far more meaningful than any organised testimonial or friendly game.

Im not saying it wasnt beautiful, what i want to mean is that the club totally ignored that it was his last game and acted like nothing happened... when players like Nedved and Trez received very beautiful and organized good byes.

I understand your point, but what I was trying to say was that is the moment that will always remain in my mind as his professional goodbye due to the 'spur of the moment' and some sort of club organised acknowledgement has no chance of even coming close to that day.
You just have to let go on how the club treated him, it's difficult after all he gave for the club but unfortunately that's the way it all panned out.
