I was the first suggesting him in this board!

I'd give more time to Bonucci and Sorensen, though, at least until the end of the pre season and I doubt he is available for 2.5M.

Honestly we need to wrap it up before Mancini wakes up. This fucker buys all our targets....

and saying Juve have an "interest" in him is saying it lightly....we're DESPERATE for a consistent good CB.

He was the one I paid most attention to last night (because he was linked to us 3-4 days ago), but to my big disappointment I couldn't see much since Paraguay weren't dangerous. Neither were Peru in the semis while against Argentina he didn't play.

All I can say that he's a giant (almost 2 meters tall) and that for Uruguay Lugano was organizing and leading the defense. Coates seemed very calm and intelligent though.
In any case, at only 20 he was given a starting spot for the Copa America winners and that certainly means that he earned it with his games for Nacional. The potential is obviously there. How will he develop is another question.

Get Lugano to organize the D. Wouldn't mind Coates too, I think I remember him when his club face our Primavera once.

lugano is class wouldn't mind him now even if he is 30 yrs old. he can play great for 3 or 4 seasons. and about Coates if he is that cheap then buy him. but it's strange cause from what i have seen from him i say better give Sorensen a chance he is even younger than Coates. anyway we need someone to start next to the king kong next season.
