No it doesn't. But this is going to create the story in England anyway, just wait a day or two after the announcement.

Players with a running down contract can already sign their agreement on January 1st or later. So it can definitely become a done deal before the summer. We had Fernando Llorente on a deal like that as well.

Yeah we didn't have that clear agreement with Witsel considering he was sold to China as soon as this window opened, only common understanding both parties want each other.

This is the 3rd time we signed him last couple of days but I don't care Kolasinac babyy

He has 4 assists this season, thats already twice as much as his best season so far (13/14, 2 assists). Looks like hes gettig more involved offensively and could develop into quite the two way fullback
