i don't understand why Aberdeen fans don't like Calderwood. He has done a great job for them on basicly no money every season. Coming 3rd last season was an unbelievable achievement for them considering how well Hibs, Hearts and Killie played at times. Calderwood has built a team that is difficult to beat on next to nothing. I honestly can't see anybody doing much better.

What an achievement getting the arguably the 3rd biggest team in Scotland to third. The whole league has next to no cash but, discounting the Old Firm, only Hearts have a bigger wage bill than us.

He is tactically incompetent, constantly playing players out of position. He packed us out with Dunfermline rejects. He bangs on about being a hun. He hasn't got us to even a semi final. He spouts shite about the club and the fans in the Glasgow gutter press every other day.

Don't get me wrong i'm not a Calderwood fan, nor do i have any opinion in favour/against Aberdeen. Sometimes it seems Aberdeen fans forget that times have changed and they are no longer a team that can challenge for a title.

Finishing third is nice but I would much rather do what Hibs did last season. Finish a bit lower, play good football and win something. Funnily enough when we nearly got relegated 12 years ago we rather lowered expectations and I'm getting really fed up of being accused of living in the past or expecting too much.

I have seen Aberdeen win 1 trophy and much of my earliest memories involve coming 2nd to Rangers at everyone. If you see the wild celebrations at finishing 3rd last season you will realise the level of expectation.

Hey juve red...what is your expectation for the uefa cup this year?..how far can you get?...or would you prefer one massive big gun at the Pit ?

If we get into the group I will be delighted. We just drew Dnipro who humped Hibs a few years ago.
