St Mirren have always been a horrible team. Hopefully they will get relegated.

How are Hearts looking this season? Capable of a serious challenge for third or just going to implode again?
we look a lot better as a footballing team this season, no more humping the ball back to front we are building nicely from the back. against motherwell we played quick, flowing football, yesterday was a more measured possesion game. 3rd is there for the taking but for that we need to get a new CF asap, either a new RM or get Beslijia fit and get Kingston playing the free role the way we know he can

the future looks a lot brighter but converting chances will be our biggest problem

they're my scottish team :weee: i don't mind hearts though since i've been to their nice stadium
you sir, are a gentleman

tbh i am rather confused by rangers fans attitude towards murray, the man bankrolled years of success, wrote off millions of debt and continues to back every manager they ahve...yet he is a greedy bastard who is selling rangers down the river

these guys need a reality check,pre-murray era they were playing to 6k fans and a couple of guide dogs while dundee united and aberdeen were winning championships.
the mentality of those that frequent castle Greyskull is beyond me.
I is incredible how short the memory of huns is. Murray has given them heaps of success over the years, as has Walter Smith. Smith is under some pressure due to losing to Kaunas, but Murray won't sack him unless they fall a fair distance behind Celtic.

Its the fickle attitude of the old firm fans as usual. When they are winning they love everything about the club and as soon as things don't go their way they want everyone out. Its Rangers just now, just like many Celtic fans were calling for Strachan's head in the middle of last season and now hes a hero.

cletic fans still dislike strachan, they say it is because his celtic team is boring and play ugly football.....is this the same celtic fans who treated martin o'neil like god?

primarily it is because strach aint a celtic man,the same thing is already happening with george burley and scotland, there was an interview with that cumstain davie provan where he blasted the SFA for hiring.....an outsider! an outsider?he is scottish aint he? or is it because he is not an old firm boy? no real need to ask that question is there?

burley is already being hounded by the media and they will not be happy till an old firm old boy is back in charge, long enough for his stock to rise and leave us in the shit again

Dr Joe, Wim J, John Barnes and Big Jock were all Celtic men?...and what religion where they?

Celtic fans respected Dr Joe, loved Wim J, gave Barnes a chance until Inv Caley, and treat the memory of Stein with heartfelt devotion...not one a Celtic man.

Sorry guys, but if Strach won three championships playing atractive footie he would be treated at least the same ,if not better than, MON

As for MON, many Celtic fans were relieved to see him go at the end, as not only did his style of football noosedive in the last season and a half, but the millions wasted in duff transfers was getting embarassing...I live with, work with and socialise with Celtic men and women, I sit in the crowd at Celtic Park every home game..I think I know what they are thinking and saying...I don't know enough about Aberdeen, Gers or Hearts fans to slag them off as easily as you guys do Cetic fans.

Can we stick to on field stuff and leave the religion for others...?

Strachan's still not a hero...unless his football improves he'll always be just the guy who bought Grav, Sno, Killen, Majec, Naylor, Riordan, Mizuno, Donati, and many more... all crap, wasted warming the bench, or never seen again...and just happened to have won three poor leagues titles at the same time.

Sorry, but your writting pish
No need to apologise.

So why is the first Celtic manager since Stein to win 3 titles in a row not liked by the fans?

O'Neil was treated like a God for several years despited playing terribly unattractive football for the most part.

Samaras rocks
remember his name
Samaras is average at best and is more concerned about keeping his hair in place than getting stuck in.

.
It' very simple...he got off to an extremely poor start with the fans from day one...and hasn't attempted to get on their side since.

His first game in charge: he lost 5-0 to Artemesia...out of Europe at the first hurdle...made no attempt to explain what happened...just shrugged his shoulders and said that's football

After loosing a dozen or so first team players he made thee BIG signings...Virgo and Naylor...they would lead Celtic to the title...Championship quality at Celtic to replace the likes of Henkie and Lambert...totally underestimated the demands and asperations of the fans after depositiing £15m in the coffers to fund the new squad.

He is a PR nightmare...can't answer even the simplest question without attempting some smart retort...and that not just the press - fans too. Example - remember him getting involved with the Aberdeen steward - he looked like a buffoon and brought Celtic into disrepute...did the same in England this year pre-season.

He is also incapable of convincing the fans he understands their love and devotion for the club...the Amsterdam tournament last month is a perfect example...didn't bother to show up for the sponsers press conference because it interfered with training while every other club manager and top players made themselves available...left Celtic looking like a bunch of arrogant upstarts and the hosts furious...real class from the wee man

There are many more reasons...why are they not valid, but the catholic issue is?

As for MON, the fans cut him some slack after the first two seasons as they hoped it was just a blip, but when he brought in the likes of the little Brazilian who was well past his sell by date for millions...well the game was a bogey...also, his wife was ill, and Celtic fans always treat ill players and staff well (Weighorst, Stubbs, etc)

I'd agree with you their, he just comes across as being rude, arrogant and possessing no class. I remember after losing an old firm game throughout the post match interview he didn't once look at the reporter or camera and decided role a boiled sweet round his mouth as loud as he could instead of just answering the questions.

If Ranieri was doing that I would be annoyed, I mean the manager is representing his team and should act accordingly.

I have always found Ranieri to be a true gentleman: he always conducts himself with great dignity, displays impecable manners, and shows everyone respect, no matter how ludicrous the question or difficult the circumstances...the ginger twanky could learn a lot by studying his approach to representing his club

:agree:

Ranieri fits Juventus' image of professionalism and respect perfectly.

If only he was a winner, he would be ideal...
I think he's quite an astute guy, especialy were English teams come in to it...against Arsenal he'd know to pack the midfield, against Chelsea man mark the forwards, against Man U get his players to kick Ronaldo in rotation till he cries, and against Liverpool keep Gerrard on the back foot.
