And I didnt say Cuba was the model of the perfect country Fabi, I just stated the obvious, that free healthcare and education were the very basis of communist society. Did you know Cuba has a literracy rate of almost 99%?
Did you also know that more than half people of Cuba dont get more than $50 a month? Im just tired of people praising Cuba when there are LOTS of major problems that overshadow their literacy rate and health care

Cuba is a disaster, that's the truth. There wouldn't be so many people trying to escape that place if the policies were actually good for the people.

If Cuba is the only example Zlatan has to show how "great" communsim actually is then we might as well just stop now.

He's right, Cuba is a disaster, and there are waaay more other (BAD) things going on there right now than their 'perfect' health care and literacy rate. It seems thats the only good example people can give about Cuba and Castro is that

You either didnt read all of it or you didnt understand what I ment.

I never said communism was perfect, I actually never said communism is great. I did however say that communism is in theory better and more humane than capitalism. Yugoslavia has better experiences with socialism than with capitalism.

I never said Cuba was perfect, I simply stated that it has free healthcare and education, the basis of communism, which is in essential, in theory, the people's political system.

I never said communism was a plausible idea. I actually said that real communism will never be able to exist due to the very nature of man. Communism never existed anywhere in its true form. Communism is the last form of an idea that never really worked, what did exist tho was socialism.

I agree 100% with your view, zlatan

The fact that Cuba has some socially distorted situation ( as sexual turism) its a product of the extreme poorness of people and the government , because with the fall of the URSS, the island lost his market partner and helper, and got submited to a strict commercial blockage by US.

What if Cuba could has the same commercial oportunities than the rest of the Latinamerican countries ??

In Qatar they also have free medical care and education, so that's not really a sole communism thing.

And no theoretical system will ever work, so we will continue with this hybrid system we've been using for 60 years now in the western world. The biggest danger is that taking care of the elderly will be too expensive for the current system in 2040 or so. (by then 40% of the western world will be 65 years or older, this because there was a huge amount of baby's born in the years after the war)
