lol @ people who support communism

communism cannot work, it's obvious! Look at China!, they've realized that, and they've started to move towards capitalism.

another thing that doesn't make sense about communism is, that if I, lets say am a doctor, and I make a certain amount of money every month, and then there is a plumber for example, who makes the same amount of money, right? 'cause everyone has to be paid equal. So then tell me, why would I study my ass off so much to become a doctor when I can just become a plumber!

correct me if i'm wrong

Spot on man. Communism is a government of conformity and weakness.

Communism is a failed social experiment. It was backed by some good ideas in theory. But in practice, worst-case scenarios resulted in how people govern with it... which led to the satire in Orwell's Animal Farm. I wouldn't say communism is a bad idea per se on its own merits -- just one that's wholly impractical to implement without horrendous abuses.

Capitalism as it is today isn't exactly an ideal as some make it out to be either, IMO. It is loaded with its own ills and problems. But at least those problems are much lesser evils than those that were brought on with communism as it was implemented.

communism is just a great idea that optimists ( and me ) like to believe in. the reason it didnt work is that the russians didnt put too much thought into creating an economy system that would work. we know with no strong economy there is no money and with no money there are no happy people

To be honest, real communism as imagined and as planned by Marx is a very good system, much more humane than the west. Just because the Western media brainwashed people into thinking communism is the devil's work doesnt mean it's true. However, none of the so called communist countries were really communist, as imagined by Marx. They were socialist countries, that didnt fully comply with Marx' theories and rules, shall we call them.

So yes, as an idea and as intended by Marxist sociologists, I do support communism and see it as a better option than the current capitalsit system.

However, because of the very nature of man to strive for personal achievements and materialistic accumulation real communism will never be able to exist. And as bad as people think of, say Fidel Castro, let me ask you which country has the best healthcare and education system in Central and South America?

    Cuba does.
    HA HA HA HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAA

Venezuela is the #1 ally of Cuba currently, and like a year ago Fidel sent us some cuban doctors so they could help out a 'sister nation' and show that Cuba has excellent doctors. Well, fact is, that nowadays these doctors arent as good because theyre not up to date with current medicine. Most of those doctors lasted not more than a month, because they saw this trip like the perfect escape from Cuba.

If Cuba has an excellent health care, education and government, then why do people want to escape from Cuba everyday?

Would you like to live in a country where the only radio/TV you can listen/watch is the one thats provided by the government, and its obviously biased for the government and only shows one side of each story?

Things are not as easy and nice in Cuba as they sound

You ever been to Cuba ??

Most of the country is poverty.

I have friends who went their for a vacation, and young girls on the street (15, 16 year olds) offering sexual favors for the can of pepsi they were drinking.......

    Thats pretty sad...............

Prostitution is a HUGE deal in Cuba. Its like the number two "industry". Everyone wants to have american dollars if they want to eat some meat (the government does not provide meat) or anything else from the limited things the government provides to them

And I didnt say Cuba was the model of the perfect country Fabi, I just stated the obvious, that free healthcare and education were the very basis of communist society. Did you know Cuba has a literracy rate of almost 99%?

Cuba is a unique social experiment that has lights and shades....

People in Cuba is very poor...yes, they are, but not poorer than other 80 million latinamerican people, and thats a miracle considering the economic and trade blockage they had suffered for years...Cuba has made a big industry with the "sexual turism"...yes, they also have the lowest rate in Latin America concerning AIDS and veneral diseases...

But in Cuba everyone receives social security, everyone know to write and read, almost everyone has some studies degree, and a major part of the populations knows and understand the risks involved in trying to set is own social system, and what would happen with the island the day Fidel dies...brave country.

A fascinating country with the friendlest people . Dont die before going there....

Sex is in the eyes of nature obviously a tool of breeding. However, all love is good love, and if it is against your ethics and morals then remember that it is your ethics and morals, and not anyone else's.

    Just my two cents.
