"there was no reason for putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days. it makes me think that maybe he doesn't want to stop the war, he's just tapping me along."
he still doesn't get it. zelinskyy didn't lose his cool, trump did. murica didn't send 350bn cash, not even the 3rd of it, and most of that was weapons. ukraine wants to buy murican weapons, trump isn't fine with that
donald wanted to have the ukrainian rare earth minerals basically unconditionally. at the end of the day it looks like ukraine got a more or less fair enough deal at first sight
Its a bad deal because the US can walk away when Putin inevitably advances his troops. There will be no shots fired between Russians and Americans, nor will the US provide air support or intelligence etc. Basically, what should be US aid will be buying them minerals, oil, and gas. Putin isn't going to stop, nothing changes for Russia.

it's a deal about the minerals. if murica walks away then they won't enjoy the favorable terms of this agreement. it's up to them
trump's tone changed towards russia, that's what might affect them. so far every move of the trump admin was favorable towards russia and put ukraine in a worse position. during the last few days, trump agreed to start selling (not donating, selling) weapons to ukraine and there's this deal too. in my book it's still not enough but at least some welcome change
