Do Serbs realize that ideally Serbia is also part of the so-called Russian World that Putinoids are promoting? And they would occupy there too if they could. Make everyone Russian-speaking (read: Russian).

Serbia is trying to play both horses like they did until 91 - and it brought a lot of prosperity. Standards of living were crazy high.

In addition to that there’s Kosovo and intense EU pressure to cede the territory, so the middle path is kind of a given to ensure RU support for Serbian claims. Im not getting into whether Serbia should or shouldnt cede Kosovo or a part of it as that just wont happen.

Yeah, they've indeed put a lot of stuff at ZNPP, and also shell around from time to time to scare any possibility of IAEA or other agency mission. It was obvious long before war that Russia has all characteristics of a terroristic cult, but they've suppressed even my expectations.

It's not morbid, you shouldn't ask people to make sacrifices you are not willing to make.
Makes sense. Which makes it hilarious northern states that push for open borders suddenly hate when busloads of them come from TX and dropped off on their doorstep.

But that's off topic from the thread. I'm sure at some point I'll get deployed to the region if this "war" doesn't get resolved anytime soon...

Look, I may support the Ukranian cause wholeheartedly against Russia. But anything involving nuclear power plants has been nothing but an excuse for Zelenskyy to invoke Hispanic Panic and try to incite other nations to enter the military actions of the war by threatening spillover from nuclear fallout.

It's disingenuous, because Russia would be on the front' lines for any such fallout. And it's the cringiest thing Zelenskyy keeps trying these days. I've tuned it out as war baiting.

It's a cute tactic, but really stupid. NYC and DC could just as easily fill those buses with local homeless and meth addicts -- many with roots in Texas, mind you -- and ship them back on the same buses. Then what? What have we really solved other than having governors fling sh*t over the walls at each other while the public watches and has to put up with these antics? Doing it for the memes is not political leadership.

As cynical as you can be about sanctuary cities, it's one thing to support a local policy and another thing to direct a campaign of weaponizing migrants against a single city that isn't set up to receive the influx from an entirely foreign state at once.

Massachusetts weaponized Irish immigrants in the mid-1800s, and it was a sh*t show own-goal on the nation. It's cute for the laughs, but it doesn't solve anything. Just more of American forking itself in the eyes again.

Passing the buck is not leadership. What next? Every state with a mass shooter or an abortion ships the corpses to Texas?

Wouldn't be as bad of a drug epidemic if we had better control of the border :)

Only ones weaponizing illegal immigration is the left for advocating for it. TX et al down south are simply reacting to it. Put up or shut up for the liberal northern elites and I LOVE that the southern starts are starting to make the north pay for it. Surely you can't be all sour over a few buses dropped off in the north when its literally a fraction of what crosses the border illegally daily? You can't compare Irish in the mid-1800's to what we are seeing at the border now. I'm sorry Swag but that is probably one of the worst argument's I've seen. Irish weren't bringing in MS13, among other gang related problems or extremely lethal drugs and the crime/death that results in that.

I love LOVE how you say the city isn't set up to receive a couple hundred illegals on a bus but the southern states are forced to handle the thousands daily that influx their cities. That's an interesting take. When the federal government refuses to listen and support the border states the border states react, that's not passing the buck that's making the federal government responsible and holding them accountable. Good for the states that aren't afraid to stand up to the gov.

Mind you, TX isn't responsible for the homelessness in NYC, but the federal government in DC is absolutely responsible for the border crisis so it's more than a reasonable solution for TX. "Here, these came here but they are your problem now". Love it.

This Russian/Ukraine isn't our problem but here we are, basically funding it but you won't see our politicians grabbing a rifle or sending their kids. Same logic applies, as Gordo said. Put up or shut up. I can't stand our politicians.

You do realize that Russia is shelling Ukraine cities from the nuclear power plant?
There is a videos showing Russians stashing war logistics in the power plant.
What do you expect the Ukrainians to do to, least shelling the nuclear facilities to make this disgusting orcs to stop?
