Nazi propaganda, they've made it look like people were happy to send occupants to Ukraine  but In reality the most of these people were forced to do It

For example - I can't vote for the mayor of my city, I can't vote for the governor of my region. I can vote for the members of city council but I can't be elected for it, to have a possibility to be elected you have to pass a municipal barrier - current members of the city council must give you permission to be elected, you see how rigged the system is? Same story in other regions - it's either the city council or the mayor's office or the election commission that will never allow you to participate in elections because of your opposition to Putin.
Damn. Democracy here isn’t perfect and I criticise it a lot on certain points, but it really makes me appreciate it after your post.

Not sure I agree. It's all about how you spin it. The European right is taking a populist turn and if the economical fallout of this war will be severe they will have a way back in, recession was coming anyway imo so this will further compound the effect.

They will run on an economic platform mostly and depending on the situation in the next few years I wouldn't count a resurgence out. There is a reason Le Pen focused almost exclusively on economics in the last few months.
This election is coming too early for Le Pen though. The economic fallout hasn’t been severe enough from this conflict yet to throw enough support her way, and given that Macron has pretty good ratings for France’s Covid response (while somehow being wildly unfavourable in most everything else) she will push him harder than last time, but isn’t gonna win imo. That style of right wing populism just has too many wildly unpopular points to win in a head to head with a centrist. Especially given the sentiment over Ukraine and the right wing populist leaders like Orban voicing support for Russia. Once the true economic damage is seen in a couple years that may change, but I think it’s still too early for her or her ilk to win.

Yeah I agree, I was more disagreeing with the notion the right wont win any election in the forseeable future. Pepole have short memories.

To be honest. I read about that incident before seeing the video and I thought he was actually hailing. But to me it doesn't look like that with the chest bumbs before that. I don't think that would be an issue before the war but now russians should be extra careful.
