Soft. Those sanctions won't change a thing.

I'm no supporter of our current president nor I'm a supporter of Dacic. Actually, our whole political stage sucks imo. But he stated a fact there.

There's no denying that cheap gas did us a huge favour but history does not count for the past 20 years only. We were always on terms with Russia and we were always getting their assistance. So yeah, it doesn't have to do anything with cheaper gas, it goes all back to the past.
They even started the great war for you guys.

Didn't know you are obliged to support a country invading another country and commiting massive crimes, just because you were usually on good terms with them in your history.

Stupid Nazi Germany should have spent some 20-30 years making good freunds out of Britain and USA before attacking Europe. We would all be praying to the portraits of mustache-man now instead of worrying about russia.
Serbs are trying to sit on two chairs - they will not be accepted into the EU until they won't forget about Kosovo and at the same time if they will show support to the EU then Russia will stop helping them, therefore the serbian government is trying to balance between the two camps

Support? Giving them sanctions does not benefit our country. Our gas comes 100% from them and our hands are tied. It was Russian veto that came to our assistance all the time and you can't pussy out on that. Right from the beginning we stated we respect Ukraine territory as a sovereign country. We want(ed) to stay neutral in this but EU keeps shitting on us for not giving Russia sanctions. It's hilarious and pathetic. They slammed Air Serbia how they are profiting from the war :lol2: by having like 2 plains flying to Russia weekly. It's peanuts money. Not just that, but nobody mentioned that Qatar owns 51% of Air Serbia too. Nevertheless, I've met dozens of people who support Russia just because they've supported Russia over the past 100 years. Nobody is supporting a war and what's going on currently in Ukraine. Those two are different things entirely.

Where is the pressure on India, the gulf countries or Turkey? It's easy to pile on small countries that have a lot to loses, not much to gain and will barely make a dent in Russia economics unlike those three mentioned and others.

The history behind it as in relations between the countries, not Frankenstein's lab.
Well russian empire have lost 12m in the WW1 for NO OTHER REASON but because of "relations between the countries", Nikolay II was a fucking idiot

While no one sees, India is buying up Russian oil with a 30% discount

Gold reserves and reserves are a big deal, no doubt about that. Nobody gives a fuck about 400 random "elites", though.
Don’t know who these elites are, but putting pressure on oligarchs and influential guys is pretty much the most effective way of sanctioning a regime IMO.

This. Especially for Arab countries, and especially UAE. Those fuckers even hosted Assad last week.

almost all of Russia's gold and foreign exchange reserves are frozen, he also imposed an embargo on the supply of russian oil to the United States, is that not enough for you?
Oil and gas will always find new buyers, Dont worry about that. It's too important

The pressure on Turkey is huge. The Turks are caught in the middle of this war big time. Erdogan's friendship with Putin is getting put to the test

weren't whole continent of europe afraid of russian invasion? now suddenly they can't even invade ukraine.
the thing is they can, the whole invasion is messed up , it seems that some kind of sabotage is taking place within Russia itself - they had 8 years to prepare, they've started with bombings of ukrainians bases, then what? They were unable to do shit, they've lost thousands of soldiers, hundreds of tanks, trucks, helicopters, nothing makes sense to me
This is map of main ukrainian roads - if you have to conquer Kiev, why the fuck would you even try to go to Mariupol? THERE IS NOTHING THERE. Why you dont move all your tanks and troops from Lugansk and Donetsk to Kharkiv and then Poltava and then Kiev? and also part of the army was coming from Belarus, you can go straight to Kiev from there. Now Russian army is completely lost, they don't know what to do, its feels like Putin was really manipulated into thinking that Russian people of Ukraine are going to welcome russian army and let them go to Kiev in 2-3 days

Perhaps they thought it would be a surprise invasion but intelligence leaked and the ukranians had more time to prepare for this then Russia had anticipated.

didn't russia bum rush a Kyiv airport and airdrop in vehicles/ peeps on the first day? Seemed like their initial plan was to blitzkreig this and end it in days but that didn't work now they are kind of fucked and resorting to shelling civiilians/ cities
