Yes, but covering a story and sending aid is hands-off helping. My point going back to Ukraine is that even though Putin is a psycho and this is illegal, the likelihood remains that Russia will totally flatten Ukraine and commit war crimes until they get what they want. Lots of people will die and condemn Putin but it's going to happen because on the ground, Ukraine is alone.

But I don't agree the world does not care about Palestinians as you think, the conflict is getting a lot of attention, when there are hostilities everyone covers it. there are many protests in Europe/America, student movements, BDS, UN condemnations once a week. They get more aid per capita then any other population in the world. every big news organization have a branch in the west bank/Gaza. You just can't compare reactions to current events and to the same shit happening for 80 years now.

Wouldn't emotionally charged be another way of saying bias, which by the way is nothing wrong, you are not wrong for feeling stronger for family rather than strangers or people like you rather than those very different from you, it's not hypocrisy. We are geared this way.

You probably know shit about it yet you keep saying stuff related to it. Albanians are Illyrians? Let's make you guys saints. Albanians didn't demolish Serbian churches all over Kosovo and they were in majority there. Unrest and march unrest in 2004 probably didn't happen too. No wonder there are majority of Albanians there now. That's a different thing. Serbs living in Kosovo at the moment are having life quite impossible due to torture they are witnessing.

Quite a lot of pseudo historians here (not on the forum, but those who write "history"). Even some people like Saric (Croat) or Deretic (Serb) are frauds, eventhough they speak positively about history, but it's nonsense. That's not history. That's bullshit.

As for 90s, there's quite a lot of shitposts flying around, eventhough majority is reading wikipedia and daily mail. I'd say that's not the correct way to learn history. By the way, it takes 30 years in order to access archives and study that period of time, because they say 30 years is required to be less biased and to enter coolheaded into conversation. Archives for 90s are being released at this point and regarding history, facts and knowledge it's quite a big news. Although, certainly not a mainstream because people don't really give a fuck on an average level. But it's what academics do and those type of texts can't re-write history as every single word will be used for a primary, or sometimes for a secondary source, which means that's all based on facts. When I say facts it's not guru type of shit from the transfer market, but actual facts where each and every one sentence can be checked if falsified. I'm actually looking forward to reading studies done by historians. And if there's any work deemed to be false, it can be proven so.

And whenever you have free time , i would liket to invitet to come to Pristina , we will visit one of the most visited restaurants (Ento Kuco) owned by a Serbian , and you can ask him how good he is goind , like "the elite" likes to go there .

And i'm not saying Albanians like Serbs , because a lot of them don't , specially the ones who got their family members killed , but in Pristina you won't have any problem for sure .

But if you're an entrepreneur USA is the way to go , it's not a coincidence biggest/best tech companies comes from there , i know life has a lot more things , but this is one of the things i love about them .

I've been to Europe too (I loved Swiss/Norway) , but if you're an emigrant and want to "make it" it's going to be kind of hard to be a millionaire in EU starting from zero (some did , but it's harder) , while in USA it's possible and easier .

That's the difference - in europe you can have an average salary and live a good life with it, in america you are pretty fucked up if all you have is an average salary, healthcare is expensive as fuck, taxes on everything, the rent prices are abysmal, breathe in and breathe out and you already have to pay somebody for something. And of course we live in the American world - the entertainment industry, sports, marketing, technology, almost all of this is the work of Americans
