No way. Capello is not the kind of coach you want around for a long cycle like Ferguson at Man United. It wont be good for the team because his transfer strategy is very short term and that would mean recycling the team a few times over if he remains around long enough.

Capello is overrated as a coach because really, his returns for the investment, over the time that he's been with teams have been nothing out of the ordinary.

I have been wondering, football is passing through a very bad period at the moment when it comes to coaches. I can name Mourinho, Benitez, Capello, Magath and to a certain extent Wenger as good coaches at the moment. I cannot think of others except for maybe Anvelotti but he barely qualifies. What do you think is the problem?

By the way I think Ancelotti is miles away of being ranked as a top class coach...
Me too, but I won't say it the way you said it.

I always admire things in Ancelotti, is the way he creates balance and how he deals with the players. Moreover, he's a gentleman. But I doubt his tactical abilities big time.

Let us not jump to talk about Ancelotti, the world of football is lacking coaching talents...why? What happened?

I did not say he is not all that.
But he is not a winner. Just look at the history...

We are a serius team, we cant stand such experiments,
we sould only hire prooven or very promissing personell,
Ancelloti was a mistake,
i believed that from the beginning,
history prooved that,
he can handle some situations but he cant make the diference in a team,
he had in his hands one of the best teams in the world so many years,
many coaches could win what he won,
but very few could win even more...
