I know its disappointing..but do you people really believe that Marotta could be thinking this way? we will sell all our shitty LBs so we signed ziegler as a backup..and the WorldClass LB is yet to come? Let's look at our LB's from 2006: Molinaro ( can't put a decent cross in, defensive liability), De Ceglie (for me even worse defensively than Molinaro), Grosso (can't run for more than 30 yards, ridiculous in defense...). Players who sometimes played as LB's: Grygera (what a fuck!!!), Salihamidzic ( even if he is my countryman I will be first to say his career was finished 5-6 years ago). So Ziegler is an improvement. Who have you expected us to bring Evra, Marcelo..

Welcome Reto! Our starting LB, an improvement from past seasons and definitely a place to improve upon in the coming years if Reto or DC don't shine. But for our upcoming season's challenege our LB spot is fulfilled.


We don't have to shore up every weak spot 100% this mercato, I bet this will allocate more cash to getting a better RB and with Bastos' defensive capabilities on the Left, we should be covered kids.

Edit: maybe Balza is better.. But Moli, Grosso, DC, Traore are all worse than Ziegler IMO.
