Highly unlikely, recovery and rehabilitation will take a while longer.
I'm afraid he won't ever be the same.

Explosiveness was a big part of his game and I've never seen players like this get back to their best after these type of injuries.

He might be able to adapt or change his style of play like others have done in the past though.

That is nonsense. Without complications (and nothing has been reported) there's no reason not to come back at 100% nowadays. May take a while longer but he's young enough.

Where did I hear this before? Didn’t you say the exact same thing about Chiesa? How’s he doing?

The reality is brmer career is over

Chiesa had different complications, mate and yet his explosiveness is back. He just ain't that good.

Also singled out examples don't proof shit no matter how many amateurs want to believe that. Mass science does.

I agree science has improved. I think in your case you are mistaken j medical for scientists when in reality they are charlatans

Well, seeing how they overlooked Chiesa's return, I wouldn't say anything is a given. Didn't he go to Germany with a meniscal problem afterwards, if I recall correctly.

Explosiveness however is not dependent on the ACL or the cartillage so it can be back at 100% with proper guidance and plenty of training. It's hard work so one must be willing but he's a young pro athlete so if done right, he should be back in shape. Often only at their full capabilities in the second season after the comeback 'tho.

Anyways, back on topic. Need Veiga to hit the ground running. We're getting more shaky by the minute.

Like many here, I don't like this deal, downright stupid but after watching cambiasso yesterday and how our mid was getting raped, I'm thinking it's time we we brought this guy in.

He's coming as a CB and not a LB 'tho.

Don't remember who but someone in here wrote he specifically said that he only wants to play as a CB.

An ACL injury is not like a headache, when the pain is gone you're not suddenly ready to go, there's all sorts of complex rehab and strengthening involved. Just look at Riqui puig and his ACL injury...

And that's what the 9 months are for... The ACL in itself is mostly (not 100%) recovered after 3 months. It's all the rest that takes more time. It's my job, I know what I'm talking about. And these guys are pro's. They can easily level up like 15% of strength every 6 weeks so those kind of drama pictures don't say much. That's instagram level insight at best.

I have mixed feelings about all the Pork Chops coming to Juve. Past experience has not been good. Conceição has been better. Let's hope this alfacinha is more of the latter for us.
