My favorite CB prospect in the system, only 16 and will start with primavera. He does not play or even look his age. Wouldnt be surprised if he jumped to next gen this season.

I've been following Barido since he arrived in Italy.
I had people at Boca tell me about him and I've seen him play on the field multiple times (something that many who comment on his transfer, probably, haven't done).
I waited until the end of the "negotiation" to share my opinion.
Juventus is teeming with strong youngsters
But not all have the same visibility.
Barido, since his arrival, has had enormous media push: talent and very strong player yes, but…
Yes, nice plays, goals, good matches. But little consistency and often smoky performances.
“Barido is strong, huh? When does he go to the first team?”. As if he were the only one...
It's strong, very strong, sure. But like others. And less than others (trust me).
This doesn't mean he can't mature and soon become a "regret".
In football, growth times are subjective: maybe at Napoli he'll have space, he'll grow a lot in little time and be worth 80 mln
I just say: true phenomena play "underage" see #Elimoghale
Lesson from this story: in the youth sector, you need to watch the matches, not just the hype or a few details that remind you of Dybala.
Barido was newsworthy, like many others.
While kids who truly deserve it remain in the shadows (unfortunately but at the same time fortunately)
I hope for a change in mentality among the fans: the young players of Juve are not all "sold off" just because Huijsen was transferred for 15 million or to be considered "useless" because they don't immediately make it to the first team.
The beauty of it is that the same fans who demand that young players be given a chance to play are the first to criticize them when they don't deliver great performances in the first team...
It takes patience and a bit more trust.
Kenan Yıldızs like that are born once every 1000, remember that.

Destiny scored his first goal for primavera. I think hes one of those talents thats gonna be playing in serie A as a teenager, which in italy is saying a lot.

lost to dortmund in youth league. They were down 3-0 at halftime and almost came back.
Destiny with another top performance. He looks like the best player on the field, and hes playing against older players. Hes one of those prospects where a timeline for development doesnt exist. He could probably hang in top flight today. Its more so about giving him a runway to actually play. He’s on a Yildiz trajectory. Definitely the jewel of the system.
Grelaud was the other standout. Seen him play a couple times now this season and he looks like another good LWB prospect. But unlike Destinys position, theres an actual need with the first team. But there are a couple guys at next gen that will probably get a look first. Talent wise I’d put him ahead though. He was injured last season so he just needs to play.

Josue Grelaud mix vs Leicester. We really could use a guy like this on the left. Not even next gen has a player with this profile.
