If they win the Serie B title, they are not promoted. Several European countries have a similar system.

Something like this already happened in Spain, where Barca B got the third place:

B team must play at least one level below their main side, so they were ineligible for promotion.

It's good for the club, but it destroys any sort of appeal Serie B might have had.

Personally I don't care much either way. We're Juventus. We will always be awesome.
