I wondered out of interest what the odds were for Euro 2020. Turns out England were absurdly low:

France - 20.5%

Belgium - 15.7%

Spain - 11.3%

Germany - 9.8%

Portugal - 9.6%

Italy - 7.6%

Netherlands - 5.9%

Denmark - 5.4%

England - 5.2%

I honestly think this was the only shot of the EPL losing dominance: burning down from the inside.

There's so much money, the greed took over. Because how the EPL and Englsih FA responds to this will make all the difference. And I don't see how both sides come out of this looking good. Either Man City is going to get hammered or the EPL is going to get fucked in the ass. Either way, both sides will come out hating each other way more than they did before.

And I'm all here for it.

Yep. This was always inevitable once all of these rich state-owned clubs stopped getting their way. They aren’t used to democratic practices. So now they’ll try to take it down from the inside.
