No matter what, 6 league titles in 7 seasons is an incredible achievement

With all the talk about money, Union and Chelsea have spent more money than them in the same timeframe

Arsenal and Pool have had significant investments during this time as well

Greatest team of the PL era, surpassed Fergie's Union but could easily get cancelled if those financial allegations against them turn out to be true(very unlikely tho)
Also helps when you've breached 115 counts of FFP

they overspent everyone, had the best squad, yet lost the title to liverpool and only won cl once with the most stacked squad of the world. what a success story to a state financed team

city embodies everything that's wrong with modern football, including plastic fans, questionable finances, soulless stadium. but they pass the ball quickly so it's all right

yeah their consistency isn't bad overall. but that's it. comparing them to ferguson's united that didn't have such a financial backing is simply not fair, city play a completely different game. state financed clubs shouldn't even exist in first place, it's a shame for both uefa and the fa that they can operate without any penalties for years and their ffp/financial breach related cases aren't treated as an absolute priority

Even Allegri 2.0 would win a treble with this City team.

So Ipswich back in the Premier League for the first time in forever, and they did it with consecutive promotions. Yes, they do have backing from their American owners but it's the best way to go up as that momentum can carry you on and you hit the ground running. You don't want to get stuck in the Championship for longer than you need to as it's a bastard of a league.

More fancied teams like Leeds and Southampton finished in the playoffs, along with Hull and West Brom.

These results aren't even surprising anymore, they are a truly shit team. And Ten Hag hasn't got a clue how to make them better defensively, they give up so many chances when put under pressure. It's a miracle how they haven't conceded 20 more goals this season.

Oof:
Carragher, said: “I think Casemiro should know tonight that he should only have another three games left at the top level. The next two league games and the cup final, then he should be thinking, I need to go to the MLS or Saudi.
"This has to stop because we are watching one of the greats of the modern time. I always remember the saying 'leave the football before the football leaves you'. The football has left him. At this top level, he needs to call it a day at this level and move.
"The level of that player, he should not be putting himself through this. He is too good of a player to be putting in a performance like that being laughed at by Crystal Palace. He needs to call it a day."

idk. I'm torn, I'm confused and I want to be entertained. Can we organize a match between JJ and ManU so that we know which is the better worse team aka the worst team in Europe rn.

Oh and ofc the post-game interview featured Allegri and Ten Hag shall be a must see.

Apathy will turn into excitement for the next game, the process is happening, can't wait to see the days united fans line up outside old trafford, like Arsenal, smiling even in defeat.
