i'm very happy abt the squad we have this yr . It's great to have many gd players and be spoilt for choice, what formation to play?, who plays where? ... Now its a matter of how we place our players...... I don't think we will have a very regular starting 11. Lippi has to be more flexible (and not perform any stunts on big match days ), players will hv to work better together.

thnx my freind! ive got fox sport but the prob here is that it the match will be played at 4am in our local time so i might miss it..
but the super coppa will be played at a perfect time 2 us here..it will be around 7:30pm

A 3 man defence never worked for us, so unless Lippi has tested it well enough he won't use it much. Though having Miccoli and Nedved supporting the main striker is quite interesting indeed.

mmm...u're right zizou....actually i also don't like 3 defence formation...too risky...

but what do u think if, lippi give tacchi and appiah more defensive role coz we already have zambo, davids, micolli, DV and neddy in attcking side...in fact zambo and davids also can support defence...

montero, leg and ferrara can make wider movement to cover buffon......

i like this formation coz we're not fully utilized pessoto and biri in the last match against barca....

But I guess we have to be realistic about that. And what about Thuram? He would do well in a 3 man central defence (like against Barca 2nd leg).

Nah, won't work. Micco is too offensive to play in a 3+1 midfield.
