Thats my point, hehehe, it'll look bad for a while nomatter how big the enlargement, but size will determine how much of it will heal and how long, if at all.

hmm, yeah, something like that...(from what I know)..

From what I've seen they don't really need to be stretched extremely, because most of the ones I see only want a one size enlargement.

So the procces is like pumping a balloon, a deflated balloon is inserted then pumped, until about the requested size, the skin just seems to stretch itself from what I see.

Won't that cause some weird effect though? I mean let's say the skin adjusts after a while, but right after you do it it must feel pretty weird..

Unfortunately*, :D I wouldn't know how it'd feel.

But right after surgery the breast become swollen for a while, and after a week or two they come down to its real size and it heals. I think before the two weeks, your suppose to really take care of it, don't let some bloke fiddle around with it , yet.

I have a question. Flame me if you want but I'm still gonna ask. :p If you do breast enlargment, where do you get the extra skin? From a physical angle, the skin already there by "default" is exactly on the dot enough to "wrap" adequately the area in question, at a reasonable tension. If you enlarge the area to be covered, you either need more skin or you have to increase the tension of the skin, correct? So what do they do?
I asked my doctor the same thing

Every womans body has different quantity of skin so when the doctor looks at you he says how much your skin can handle to stretch and how much space you have for the implants so when you get it done theyll look natural. If you get put more than you can handle (he showed me pictures of a girl that got more than 500cc put) then all that pressure is gonna go up and youll get like a big bump in your chest and then the breast. So it looks like your breasts come just right after your neck, without any space between the neck and the natural breast

    Quite nasty

Since we're still on the subject (6 pages, this must be a record), what are the circumstances when women have to remove the implants? Is that just for some special cases or does it apply to everyone?

The implants are supposed to last like 35 years -there are two procedures to get the implants. The first one is that they put the implant through the areola and you get the implant between the skin and the gland. The doctor told me that that procedure causes a lot of complications in most women because the implants get compacted and become rounder so the breasts look really cincumferic and fake
The second procedure is that they put the implants through the armpits and they put it between the gland and the muscle, that way the woman will still be able to breastfeed, itll look more real and he said that with that procedure the patients didnt complain of their breasts becoming rigid and round

The implants are made with 6 layers of silicone so its quite hard to break them. You would have to have a traumatic wound, a direct shot or a stab with a knife for them to be broken

People who lose weight even through normal methods (ie dieting, exercise without surgery eg. liposuction) end up with alot of loose skin hanging and it's much harder for stretched skin to contract (for lack of a better word) again. Alot of people actually have to get stapled.

So here's the next problem for you and vonam:
Do women who remove their implants go through the same process?

Perhaps you think she doesnt need them, but in the end it all comes down to her own opinion and the way she feels about her body. If she feels uncomfortable or not confident and truly believes this will help her gain confidence and feel comfortable with who she is, then by all means, do it Fabi.
